The fact that this department is featured so much points to a management issue. This many cops wouldn't feel so entitled to be tyrannical unless it was promoted by higher ups.

Most laws are immoral and tyrannical; that being said, there is need for ACTUAL CRIMES to be punished. Most cops are criminals, the kind of person that seeks out that level of control over others should never be put into that position.

Jesus I came from audit the audit and didn’t think it’d be this bad. I thought he dislocated her shoulder when he threw her to the ground but no he did it himself, with his own hands & force. Omg that is just sickening! & he laughs about it! I hope they beat his ass in prison! I thought it was sick when I seen them high fiving in the audit video but to hear the audio was just wow!!
I attended a trial as a representative of my employer. The judge looked thru magazines and then feel asleep during the trial.
The third cop, Phil Metzler, should have been fired and charged criminally. He resigned. He should have been fired for tampering with evidence, and his law enforcement certification should have been pulled. Tampering with evidence is corruption. This department is poorly managed. Compare this with the operation run by Polk County (Fla.) Sheriff Grady Judd. Yet another black eye for Colorado law enforcement.
