The cop shown here was making a stop based on the lying of officer Malta-Gonzalez & thought actions were justified. He was fired, but not for this traffic stop in what may be corrupt department politics. Officer Malta-Gonzalez, whose arrogant behavior & lie about being threatened caused the entire incident, WAS NOT FIRED.
Must be nice to live in normal states. In Illinois there is nothing you can do against these tyrants! There are no lawyers who will help people here in Illinois unless you're rich!

Police know all criminal behaviour will be null and void once litigation is settled with the taxpayers money. Police know people will sell their rights for cheap.
We need an official bar exam and license and committee/council that runs police services. If they fail to meet a state or federal standard, they should lose their license and be barred from practice in the state or country, along with being personally responsible for malpractice or misconduct. Just like for medical personnel or lawyers. And end qualified immunity.
This guy isn't smart enough to hold employment in the private sector so you can bet he's either going back somewhere as a cop and at a minimum as a government employee somewhere.
