  1. The Chief is waiting for your reaction before making a decision. Check out the comments on their FB post supporting what this officer did. This is why we canā€™t have nice thingsā€¦
What was missing from the Chief's statement (posted at the blog link)?

  2. This happend in my neighborhood police just towed his car away they never even spoke to the guy. He had to pay like $800 to get his car back he was blocking a road over a neighbor dispute. The problem neighbor he went back in his house when he saw the police car they knocked on his door a few times he didn't answer they were giving him a chance to move it.

  3. I can only attest to my own experiences with Broken Arrow PD, they've mostly been great on the night shift with 2 Karen neighbors who don't like my open carrying of an 'assault pistol' and a security company that the HOA both fired from their contract on checking on homes being built on a publicly accessible residential roadway and they were starting fights because security wanted to detain in cuffs and ID anyone out walking after sunset.
When I got stabbed this past December 12th, they gave me a ride home when I was eventually discharged from the hospital as the rest of my family went out of state for the holidays and BAPD didn't want me to have to pay for a ride home. Most cops would say "Im not a taxi" and leave the victim to get a ride on their own.
Had my identity and credit card numbers stolen, and their detective in that area calls me every few months to check on me and see if any new changes happen.
They don't disarm me at gunpoint or disarm me, most of the time it's just a wave as they passby and a "good evening/morning" joke as I work 3rd shift mostly remotely in a SoC.
Now if we were talking about Tulsa or the state troopers, then it's a completely different deal, view, and opinion on how they conduct themselves.
Cops here were wrong in amping the situation instead of calming it, but I think BA will do right, and I'll eat my words if they don't and say I was wrong.

  4. How could all three cops fail to comprehend that they needed a warrant and that going into the house without one was a 4th Amendment violation? This is law enforcement 101.
