Okay, devil's advocate here…the Officer didn't say you don't need your rights during a traffic stop, he said you don't need your rights ADVISED during a traffic stop. The reading of your rights or Miranda Warning is only applicable when an officer suspects you of a crime and wants to interrogate you regarding the suspected crime. No Miranda is required during a traffic stop unless it's directly related to a serious crime under investigation and the officer wants to obtain evidence towards a conviction. Miranda is not required during a traffic stop for an infraction. You ALWAYS have rights, they are inviolate but the officer was alluding to Miranda Warning…and as @$$holes go…he wasn't that bad. I've seen much worse.

I have yet to make my "test call." I had difficulty with the lag between requesting an authentication code and when it finally hit my inbox, already beyond the 3 minutes expiration. It took several attempts. And it's not a connection issue either. If I can stream YouTube then there's nothing technological on my end to slow down my email delivery either.

What's amazing here is the speed of the interaction no cop explaining no tuff guy routine no treats of violence they want to get away from your phone as fast as possible. That's how it should go without you having a lawyer present but the courrupion they are taught in the academy prevents that.
That app is going to get more and more important now that any video can be faked. Cops can't lie when a lawyer is watching it live.

Johnny Hollman, the 62-year-old Atlanta deacon would probably disagree with this officer about rights at a traffic stop but unfortunately he died after being punched and tased for asking too many questions and not signing a ticket fast enough. I wouldn't be surprised if politicians like Ron Desantis who passed a law to make it criminal to film police within 25 feet attempts to ban having a lawyer present via an app on your phone. Attorney shield could potentially save your life with criminal police today. Tyree Nichols, Dana Elmore, Mississippi Goon Squad, New Jersey robbery squad, Mark Dial , Jackson County sheriff deputy planting methamphetamine and Eric Cantu are examples to support my belief.

That cop really needs to educate himself with the constitution, what the hell did he mean you don't need your rights in a traffic stop? He must be one of the dumbest cop ever and if that is his mentality his going to cost his city and departmant a lot of money on misconduct's due to violating people's civil rights. 🤔 they should fire him sooner than later. 😂😂
