1 – DUI checkpoints or any Checkpoint other than ones at the Nation's Borders or declared emergency should be illegal.
2 – Refusing to enter a DUI Checkpoint should be perfectly legal and always an option.
3 – Police demanding ID should never happen until the person has been legally arrested or legally stopped because of traffic violations in or on a motorized vehicle or vessel.
4 – All LEOs should be required to carry malpractice type insurance and be personally responsible for their actions.
No in our courts today if you invoke any of your rights you have to explain it to the police officer because he doesn't know you're rights
My state banned roadblocks and checkpoints about 35 years ago. The state Supreme Court determined that they violated our state constitution. Thank goodness
