Can cops just drag an injured driver out of his truck after a pursuit crash, even if his legs don't appear to be working?
Details: https://thecivilrightslawyer.com/2023/06/01/cops-drag-legless-driver-after-wild-pursuit-crash/
Why didnt he get an ambulance???
Holy shit those cops were hopped up on adrenaline. That isnt good. They shouldnt be cops if they cant handle their shit.
Dude, headphone warning.
Another great video, thank you for your analysis
Maybe they should have just let go…..
OMG.seeing them drag him inconceivable to me. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. This is insanity. I don't care what the guy did, what those police did was criminal. They put everyone on the roads life at risk AND DID NOT CARE. Then drag a leg less man like it happens everyday. Police truly are a danger to the public. An aberration of the purpose the police were started for.
Because their adrenaline is high . They honestly dont care if someone is hurt . This is demonstrated in how they throw him in the car with even looking at his legs .they make no attempt to give him any medical attention at all . This is why qualified immunity needs to be abolished. Xause then they have to act like human beings of face charges themselves . the only reason there is even qualified immunity is to keep the number of lawsuits against justice system employees and government officals down . This is ridiculous! Train your poeple in laws and how to properly act in accordance within the law . Not give them a free pass to break the law . EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. EVERYONE!
the audacity of cops to pull suspects from wrecks b4 medical arrives
absolutely insane
“hot pursuit” outside of exigen circumstances should be a crime
This is typical Arkansas State Police behavior. You notice the city mention that they should have the medics look at him.
It will never make sense or be morally right to flip a truck off the road when there is literally oncoming traffic right in your eyesight
Cops should follow their own directives! CALM down
You gotta the fake outrage. No leg Lou was a scumbag did something dangerous and was taken into custody
Although I don't agree with cops violating the rights of citizens it's kinda hard to have sympathy for people like this having their rights violated when it's pretty obvious in the video that this guy has zero respect for the rights of everyone else out on the road that he could have potentially killed. Respect is earned by showing respect to others
When will the police Realize that their job is not to punish us citizens. It seems nowadays that's all police want to do is to punish us.
I don't see a problem with this arrest .
When cops give commands, they should firmly state the command. The excited voice, the profanity and the name calling should not be allowed. This verbal activity directly leads to the excessive force use. This is a problem of the police culture.
Arkansas State Police live for high speed pursuit. Trooper Byrd would have ended this quick lol
They shouldn't be allowed to yell "get out of the fucking car." I would argue that I didn't get out of my car because I didn't see any cars engaged in sexual activity so I didn't think he was talking to me.
Cops should not be chasing people like this going 120mph. People can get killed, cars driving and people walking, hell, every people in their homes is the car his a house and plows through. Just let him go and find a away to get him without a chase, there are a million options other than driving multiple cars over 100mph with other drivers around and people walking around. They don't know if the guy has kids in the car at risk, or when they roll it over if there's a person walking by or whatever. Ask they care about us getting the driver and if people get hurt then that's just a risk humans take being in public with wild ass cops chasing people like it's GTA5.
My question is, do you human first, and lawyer later? Or, do you scumbag it for money, regardless of the dirtbag you're "covering". I liked all your videos, till this one. Reminded me why lawyers are never to be gauged by their moral. They have none. You can't have it as a lawyer. Same as a cop. The irony here hurts.
born and raised in glendale,WI(just north of Milwaukee) now live in gravel ridge, Arkansas(just north of Little rock, right around Sherwood) and this is really close to where i live now.
You know, this guy was endangering other drivers. He should have pulled over, took the ticket and his truck and stuff would not be all over the highway. I may have missed it, but I didn't hear the police call EMS. I do not think he should have been moved unless gas or another reason the vehicle might catch fire, possible neck or back injury. Then pull the subject under the arms to limit back and neck injury.
Those officers are foul mouthed pigs! If they cannot be professional, they have zero business being an officer.
Welcome to nazi America
This whole issue is insane from all , the suspect should not have been dragged out of the trurck unless it was on fire, should have been removed by ems personal. The cops put hundreds of people in danger by the high speed chase, could killed, or mained multple innocent during that chase. These cops are pumped up and erastional and out of control. Lucky that they didn't kill or injured any innocent persons during that chase. Thay need to be removed from the force, they are a danger to the public.
Okay, who forgot to tell Arkansas about helicopters?
Appalling lack of judgement.
This is absolutely unacceptable, unsafe with vehicle, firearms, tasers etc. they tried the Pittman maneuver in town like that, what if children were out playing in a front yard, ran into a house. I know it’s no big deal till it’s your children that could have been killed only to receive a court settlement with an oh sorry bout that. There lack of safety with literally everything they do . I know it’s no big deal till it happens to you.
They were trying to kill him. Plain and simple:
That was crazy. This dude is a POS, the cops should have just kept tabs on him and found him when he was not driving to avoid this crazy chase, but they didn't punch him or anything. The shoving him in the cop car was a bit much.
They also called the ambulance. So, it couldn't be disregard.
