This was on private property with no laws broken! These cops are untrainable! This is exactly why I and others don't trust any police at all. These cops want respect but they are not worthy! I would file a complaint and and put this video on the evening news to show everyone this cops face and what he did playing mall cop.

Don't want to be that big of a dick! Really, so pretending to be the parking lot police isn't being a dick. Private property is just a little bit outside his jurisdiction, while calling the lines in a virtually empty space in a parking lot a traffic device. He thinks he's allowed to argue with the citizen, but the citizen isn't allowed to argue with him. It's literally a difference of opinions. The cop should have stayed within his jurisdictional authority without a complainant or victim, since it's private property, and not a Texas roadway. As always, you described the retaliatory nature of this unlawful detention, perfectly! One thing I'm fairly certain of, is this cop likely thinks he's still not a dick, when in fact he is. Hopefully he's watched the videos of how he treated this guy, and has developed just a little bit of self awareness, and learns to lighten up a little bit. Nobody died, nobody got hurt, by this guy's approach to driving up a gas pump, and this should have been the first thoughts going through this wannabe tyrants head, instead of what he actually did. His approach to trying to make the state a victim of parking lot etiquette, went way outside of his actual authority and jurisdictional boundaries. Making him look like the Karenest of all Karen's.
