This is nothing new. The PA police have been corrupt for decades and so have their politicians. Little known fact outside of PA: in 1985 the cops flooded and then dropped a literal bomb on a home because a black liberation group lived in it who were falsely accused of killing a police officer. It set several other homes on fire, killed over a dozen people, and much more. It took 11 years for the Philadelphia police to pay off a single survivor's family, and until 2005 to pay for the damages to residents that were made homeless by the bombing.
Theres 2 types of people who become cops. The naive idiot who thinks he is going to help the country, and the psychopath who seeks power over others. The naive idiot either turns into the psychopath or is fired. That leaves power hungry psychopaths. Thats who makes up the police and the government.
