Being from Alabama, I recognize a country bumpkin overpowering on the educated punk and that’s what the Childersburg police officer is and probably the whole damn department. It’s a shame that the general public knows more about the laws than the officers trying to enforce them illegally. It is just gotten out of hand. It is horrible.

Does nobody in the legislature understand the diachotomy of "Ignorance of the law is not an excuse" for citizens, but those who's job it is to uphold the law get "qualified immunity" for being ignorant of the law? What an asinine proposal that is.
Thank god those officers were stripped of their immunity. Unfortunately, the lawsuit payment will not come from them. It will come from the city and the community. The "VICTIMS" are paying out of their own pockets to their own peers so that the oppressors don't have to pay.
