In Phoenix, Arizona, cops were called by a Circle K gas station in reference to a white man they wanted trespassed from their store. When they arrived, the white man pointed across the street to a black man, claiming that the man was the actual culprit. Just taking his word for it, Phoenix officers Ben Harris and Kyle Sue violently attacked the black man. His name is Tyron McAlpin. He’s completely deaf and has cerebral palsy. Officers Harris and Sue took him to the ground, punched him in the head at least 10 times and tased him at least 4 times, all the while shouting commands that he was unable to comprehend.

It’s their story that they were after a suspect but they don’t have a single piece of evidence that this was the case. 😕 Not buying it. They knew the actual perpetrator and deliberately went for a random person. This is one of those things where really ANYONE who touches it is automatically a suspect. If the DA doesn’t charge the officers he’s a suspect. If the supervisor doesn’t displine them, he’s a suspect. Officers that are OK working with are just more suspects. This doesn’t happen by accident.

This scares me. My mother is partially blind. People hear “blind” and they think 100% vision loss, which is actually rare. She has been told by cops “you don’t LOOK blind” before (my dad was parking in a handicapped spot with a handicapped placard, cop said it was suspicious). Suppose a cop signals to her from a distance, or he says something to her that he thinks she can even see him?
