    47 years old. I live in an extremely rural area with houses averaging miles apart, no big cities, closest 2 stoplights 30 miles away. I know many that ride motorcycles, some in the family, some go to Sturgis yearly. I've never once heard of or seen this patting on the head thing.

    It is really disheartening to see all of these comments from people who are not smart enough to see something, not know what it is and then not look it up, but instead start whining that they arent intelligent enough to understand. It isnt Lacks fault you dont know any of the extremely common road gestures that have been around for decades.
