  1. DETAILS: https://thecivilrightslawyer.com/2024/11/05/cop-follows-man-home-after-traffic-stop-then-tases-him-repeatedly-14-other-victims-fired/
In Warrenton, North Carolina, bodycam was recently released showing now-fired police officer Mark Oakley following a black man home from a traffic stop and then repeatedly tasing him in his driveway. Dwayne Hicks was originally pulled over for a minor traffic violation. Finding a pickup order in the system for Mr. Hicks’ license plate, the officer got a screwdriver and pulled the plate off Hicks’ vehicle. Then he told Hicks that he was “free to leave,” and encouraged him to leave the scene. The officer even waved as he drove away from the scene. Instead, former officer Oakley followed Mr. Hicks home and performed another traffic stop – this time in Mr. Hicks’ driveway. The encounter quickly escalated into violence.

  2. Oakley is a heavy breather. He either needs to cut back on the donuts and cigarettes or get his oxygen levels and hear checked. It might be time for him to get right with God. Further, I couldn't help but notice a commonality with all the people he has victimized… none of them are white. What do you know about that.

  3. Hi John, in Australia there is a charge called entrapment were if an officer knowingly lets aperson go and then uses that to restop and arrest or sets a person upto break the law this would lead to a counter action in court

  4. So this was not the first time that Mr Harris interacted with Officer Oakley, based on the video of the innishel stop, where Harris said "don't touch my car Oakley" before Oakley said anything, about 4:56 time stamp on TCRL video. It appears to me that Harris may have changed insurance companies or a late payment… the he was trying to prove proof of insurance on his phone, where Oakley (after removing his tag) was in a rush NOT to hear or see that proof. I think Oakley is an authoritarian jack boot bigot doing his best to oppress black people. Seems like a form of entrapment to me.

  5. It appears to me that officer Mark Oakley has some sort of serious personality disorder. I suspect that his BOSS COP approves of this type of behavior by his subordinates, even if they may deny such.

  6. I believe this needs to go to court because I believe the judge needs to rule that this cop needed a warrant to enter this guy's property because he intentionally followed he home and enter his property so it's clear there was no danger of harn to another or cop and no destruction of evidence because he could have stopped him sooner

  7. Well oh I’ve seen points to one thing all of these 14 people should be suing the officer the police department for hiring them the town for hiring them and then they should go back to the other police departments that hired and fired him but didn’t report them and they should be allowed to sue them as well because this man just didn’t get to where he is being this stupid he had help a lot of it 14 times he had help now if you can’t correct your wrongdoings after two or three warnings why would you keep the person I guess you would keep a person like this around if you want to waste taxpayers money and pay lawsuits because that’s all he’s good for you’re gonna pay it way more than he’s paid or worth

  8. White cops stopping only black people because they are easy target going to jail… When white cops just stop only black people No white people it becomes a crime for dumb cops on video.. beat on black people no white people don't get beat up..

  9. You know what I would like to hear I would like to hear the recordings from this gentleman’s police cruiser after he left the first stop until he goes to the second stop I’ll bet you that would be one interesting conversation to hear in that police car and who he phoned because I’ll bet you he called nobody and this was done on his own because he was going to make himself look really good really good and stupid

  10. After the license plate was taken out, howcome this officer did not mention that he can not drive away because he took his license plate off. Most of the times, I see online videos that when cars license plate or registration is out of date, the officers tells these drivers, they can not drive it home since the car is not valid / up to date to drive on the road. But this officer told him he was free to go. And then this second stop was just crazy. If it was because the car had no license plate, then why get aggressive to the driver when all he did was walk behind his car and turn his back at him. And for him not having a license plate and getting pulled over again, he was the one who took it out in the first place and again he did not mention he can't drive it anymore but instead told him he was free to go / leave from the first traffic stop. It was a good invention for bodycams to show the flaws in police / citizen interactions.

  11. The fact alone that there are 14 people willing to sue this asshole how did you get to 14 any job I’ve ever been at three strikes you’re out saw how bad does a cop have to be before he gets fired now there’s a scary question let’s see if somebody can answer it besides a cop

  12. Watching from the UK 🇬🇧
It says everything about Oakley's mindset that he doesn't see his termination as a punishment for his wrong doing , and because they allowed him to keep his certification he can't he can't really have done anything wrong!
This is a very dangerous mindset for an aggressive bully with a gun!!
