If you look closely at the deputy's picture in the video, at the reflection in his sunglasses, it appears that he's taking a selfie… with 2 hands!. And looks like it was inside a car. Wonder if he was congratulating himself after an enforcement encounter with a resident. That guy must have some humongous ego.

If a man said he's taking his child to the hospital and it's an emergency, my priority isn't chewing him out, I'm asking if he wants me to call an ambulance! He's not a Servant, he's a Tyrant.

A couple of decades ago, my dad severally cut his fingers. He almost lost 2 of them. I hopped into his truck and drove him to the hospital. I got pulled over, my dad showed the cop his hand, the cop, told me to follow him. After we arrived at the hospital, he wished my dad a speedy recovery. That was a great man that just happened to be a cop.

Cops are robots incapable of critical thought. However, this cop also appears to be a medical doctor, capable of making determinations as to whether a child is suffering respiratory issue based on a 3 second observation. Pretty incredible this guys has made the decision to “serve the public” as a cop, as opposed to continuing in a lucrative profession as a medical doctor. He should be praised for his sacrifice.
The cop fails to possess the ability to logically assess a situation and adjust accordingly. He could have escorted the man to the hospital, allowed the man to have his child treated……and then write the ticket.
Or, better yet,…….NOT write the ticket. Look around you cop…………you are not the center of the universe!
FOIA the radio traffic. I want to hear what the officer with no medical training told dispatch. I bet the officer told dispatch it wasn't a high priority and that why the ambulance was turned around for a higher priority call.
