Here is how it actually works.. the cop says he has pulled him over for suspicious activity.. he has yet to articulate what suspicious activity that was.. and it needs to be of a crime which has happened, past tense, is currently happening, present tense, or is about to happen future tense.. and he must by having watched that activity have first hand knowledge of what he believes is an actual crime you are committing, have committed or are about to commit.. and really he does not have that.. Terry vs Ohio, A cop watched a couple of guys outside a jewelry store for about 20+ minutes or so and their behavior, looking into the store window, going and taking with his buddies down an alley, going back and looking again into the window, doing this a few times, gave the cops reasonable suspicion that they may be casing the place to rob it.. and he searched them, went into their pockets and found a gun.. and was then arrested.. they wanted to have the case thrown out because he frisked him, felt what he thought might be a gun and so went into his pockets to check if it was, and it was a gun.. and so they were arrested.. they wanted the case thrown out because he went into his pockets without having suspected them of actually having a gun, but the supremeless court ruled, the pat down was not intrusive, did not violate the rights, the fact that he felt something in the pocket which might be a gun was enough to then search inside that pocket to see if its a weapon, hence you have terry vs ohio.. here this cop, only if he has reasonable articulate suspicion that this man has broken or is about to break a law, can then pull him over and investigate if any crime is afoot.. but this guy does not have to say a single word to him.. not one word.. he might get away with a terry frisk but minus any reasonable articulate suspicion that he might be armed, I would view it as unlawful pat down.. where the ID being asked for here, one is not obligated to show an ID unless he has been lawfully arrested.. which is at least true in Texas.. and I say, I do not have to say a single word without first being advised of my rights by counsel.. so Until I talk to counsel, I am not going to do anything including ID.. once I have had a chance to talk with counsel and am advised I am lawfully arrested, then I will deal with any identification… this cop pulling someone over has to have a violation of registration which is either visible by which he can check his database to see the validity of, or a moving violation, or something about the equipment of the vehicle not being lawful.. otherwise its pretty much a fishing expedition..
FreddyG in Canada says : I love that you actually desperately WANT a cop to act right and live the training they received instead of them feeling that now they have a badge they’re now part of the cop gang. Keep up the good fight. You are winning!!
I saw this fool in some other video and he's some triggered woke activist who's unhinged. Pretty sure the law got involved in that interaction, and this guy was talking out his ass and was totally wrong. Things definitely didn't go the way he wanted. I wouldn't take advice of any kind from this MF, let alone legal advice.
You’re wrong. First off, each state is different. Secondly, many states require that you present Drivers license, proof of registration and insurance when stopped by police as per agreement of the driving privileges which you signed for.
If you guys in the states put as much effort into voting for non Orange , crooked misogynistic tyrants as you do into taunting and exasperating genuine lawmen then you’d find you had a much better AND safer country . 🎤drop 👍🏴
This is a small reason why the public needs monitors for all police the Big reasons monitoring is when officers use excessive forse and or gross police misconduct increase funding create jobs hire monitors for all police NOW 😮
Cops can say anything that is probable. Oh hey looks like you were swerving, oh you crossed the middle line a few times…even if it’s a lie.. boom probable cause for DWI/DUI…film everything…get a dash came

I just stopped carrying it outside of a vehicle. So when they ask I’m not lying when I say I don’t have it.

Probable cause is not a standard related to being required to identify to a cop.
Actually in most states when law enforcement asks for your identification, you are required to give them your identification.
If he commited a mv violation and refuses to give oroper identification… next step is arrest.
This is a small reason why the public needs monitors for all police the Big reasons monitoring is when officers use excessive forse and or gross police misconduct increase funding create jobs hire monitors for all police NOW 😮
Best like ever
Thanks
