I got arrested and taken in off a false report of a felony and was at the station in a cell for hours after I got checked out by Ems and wrote my statement and they just let this guy walk
Ban assault cars
If that had been a police officer standing there he could have shot the driver as it has been justified by many police dept in the past. As the driver used deadly force against the person standing near the vehicle. He needs to be charged with Aggravated Assault.
They always claim that they have to do their job when they harrass us. Its clear that they only do things they want to do.
This was absolutely a premeditated act, a felony and if anyone else but the fire chief had done it they would be in cuffs and in jail and charged

I don't see how it's not attempted vehicular manslaughter because I know if I did that that's what I would get charged with. It's sad to see the people who we trust and support stoop down to those levels. Fire the chief and triple the payout of the lawsuit.
Clearly, he intentionally drove into the cameraman, had he not turned on his siren (twice) backed up turn towards the cameraman. Then maybe you could call this an accident. The video is clear, this was an intentional act of assault and battery with a deadly weapon at minimum!! Crazy coverup!! I hope he is awarded millions.
To be fair, everyone in this video is childish! The chief shouldn’t have started this with his horn and the guy recording could have EASILY moved out of the way of the vehicle. Zero spatial awareness on the recording party. This is similar to the usual scenario where a person gets bumped from behind, goes to the doctor the next day and puts a neck brace on to escalate the severity. Again, children playing children games

Isn't it a crime to use a siren on an emergency vehicle when it's not responding to a call. The vehicle was already there and parked so there was no reason to use it.
