I understand that you’re trying to highlight issues with police culture in this country, but the reality is that it’s no longer just a matter of police versus Black communities—it’s the police and the government exerting force against everyone. While Black communities may face higher levels of policing due to systemic and local issues, police brutality and abuse are widespread and affect people across all backgrounds.
