  1. Can you demand they secure your person for the duration of the detainment. Say cuffed and locked in the back of the car. Seems to me the detained, not detained or any other purposeful confusion of status is the jeopardy they trap everyone with.

  2. If a officer takes your license to write a ticket what law allows them to run your name for other violations if you are not suspected of any other crime?? I believe that they shouldn’t be able to run your name outside the scope of the traffic stop. That’s like running random license plates in the hope that one comes up with a crime. What you think?

  3. And when they walk that dog around your property to gain reasonable suspicion by a trained alert to breach the law under color of law they better also be teaching that dog to speak fluent English when I cross examine the witness against me.

  4. Just the presence of a citizen in a vehicle is enough of a threat to them. Cops are trained/programmed to view every person they interact with as a threat, that's why things escalate so quickly. Until the system is reworked from the bottom up, there will always be tension & an "us v them" mentality

  5. Cops should be required to spend their first year on the job as wildlife conservation officers. They are more often than not alone, in a remote area, and nearly everyone they encounter is armed. When was the last time you saw a video of one of them shitting their pants simply because a firearm was present?

Pulling a gun on someone is incredibly reckless. It should be viewed the same as actually shooting someone, something that should happen only after every option has been exhausted or if there is an immediate threat of life or grievous bodily harm. I can't pull a gun on someone because I'm frustrated that they won't listen to me or to force compliance, and neither should police be able to.

  6. Philandro Castile. Read about him. 40 second traffic stop, probably profiled "driving while black" though this was so short the cop testified he smelled pot, and if the driver was so unconcerned about that second hand smoke and illegal drug use around the child in the car, he would have no regard for officer safety. But it took me way longer to re-type the cops sworn testimony than it took him to draw and kill a driver who was simply reaching for his wallet to get his license, the license the cop just asked him to show.

Record everything, for your safety. The cop who killed Castile was tried and found not guilty. Be sure to explain every move you have to make to get to the requested documents – and get their verbal agreement and approval to those movements when they ask for license and registration. Get it recorded on their bodycam if possible.

Remember cops are always afraid for their life. How do I know this? By watching police testimony in every event where they shoot and kill a citizen, even when that citizen is running away and the cop shoots them in the back, it was because they feared for their life. Anyone who acts more carefully and slowly because they know cops are afraid at every traffic stop will be keeping themself just that much more safe.

  7. Why are cops paranoid about regular citizens with guns in their cars? There's no question of whether they're illegal firearms, just so long as it's some kinda gun they lose their fuckin shit and gotta treat the driver like an assumed criminal and usually confiscate the property like they just wanna steal and break the law further. Cops seem to think they are the law half the time and think nothing of pointing a gun at any of us regardless of the actual 'threat'.

  8. How long is a reasonable time frame when just being pulled over? The county cops where I’m at always will have 2-4 officers there and have the person get out. There have been many times I’ve seen them still there 2 hours later.

  9. They don't want to call their Sergeant or lieutenant because they know they will get in trouble doing what they done her putting that gun up to his head while he sitting in the car and he's got his hands on the steering wheel she knows that she is going to be fired I recommended probably get fired and recommended at the same time which she needs to be done and he ain't doing nothing wrong except in the car waiting and he asked for a supervisor and they haven't got the supervisor yet because they don't want to get in no trouble and they know they're in trouble when she pointed a gun at his head😮

  10. She didn't have to point a gun on him at his head by him holding his hands on the steering wheel with should have been good enough but no they want for their than that she pointed the gun at his head making him think that she was shooting and she probably would have shot him if he would have made any kind of move that's bad the prisoners that mean he's a prisoner now he's got a gun against his head so you know he's a prisoner the police got to treat people like people and not like prisoners before they're even put in jail or even she she she did all violation of his from the first amendment to the fifth amendment she violated his

  11. I wish we lived in a world where people don’t get their legal advice from YouTubers with no ascertainable credentials. If you end up on trial I can assure you that you won’t be looking for defense counsel on TikTok.
