This is another problem that you should immediately stop in traffic and let the officer beware.
This one annoys the $hit out of me. . .Either a person is expected to find a reasonable safe spot to stop, or they are not. The "police" need to find a way to elucidate this concept to EVERY DRIVER they stop, TO IMMEDIANTLY MAKE THEIR WISHES KNOWN!
The officer states he needs to know if the man is a prohibited possessor, AFTER the other cop pointed out he had NEVER BEEN ARRESTED. This Clown Is a loose cannon that will get this department relentlessly sued. Response should have been, "Oh officer? Are you on that special ATF task force to reveiw all gun purchases, AT THE ROADSIDE?

OMG, I had to pause this video 100 times in disbelief of what this "officer" was saying and doing. Unbelievable, This cop never stops trying to escalate things. Then the cop realizes this guy is a military vet with a squeaky clean record and that him making up phony charges probably won't go well for him so he is forced to let him go. lol

This cop was definitely a jerk and a thug and should not be a cop but there is no evidence that the cop is racist. To say he is a racist is very irresponsible because you have no evidence of this. This cop was very disrespectful to the man but the cop again might just be a jerk and not a racist. How do you know this thug cop does not act badly towards white people also? One last thing, the cop's behavior was not disgusting because he was abusive to a black man but because he was abusive period. It makes no difference whether the person is a man or a woman or white or black. News flash the year is 2023 and not 1940's or 50's. One more thing, I am a white man with no criminal record who has had bad experiences with Virginia and New Jersey cops. I think a more common pattern to these videos is not the race of the suspect but the time of day. Cops that work late nights are very often thugs.

I dont know about this video… So the guy had a failure to yeild for over 300 yard's while the police lights/sirens were on, and he stuffed a gun underneath the drivers seat while evading the police, and the cops let him off with a warning? Where was the huge "civil rights violations?"
Why do the officers keep saying "why didnt you stop/pull over when my lights were on?" Was there a failure to yeild/evasion first? We need to see the dash cam from the beginning. Plus did he say he stashed a gun under the drivers seat??

Here's an idea for everyone, to retaliate against dumb ass cops like this one in the video. When cops pull you over, just stop right there. And use this as justification why. "When the lights and siren's go on, you shouldn't be thinking, that's where i should pick a spot".
So next time a cop puts on their lights then you need to stop in the middle of the road, turn off your vehicle remove the keys and put your hands out the window.

Lessons to everyone, get dash cam. Record every interaction from a locked mobile phone. Make sure both cameras have protection to stop them deleting incriminating evidence.
