Karma a bitch Officer! What Goes Around, Comes Around. This is exactly how they serve and protect the public! If you believe their BS, your in complete denial.
I have made this argument several times what we need is a separate organization that's above police, On site and that's hands on. Someone to enforce the policies that they are someone to enforce the Constitution that they took an oath to someone to enforce the law that they are supposed to Follow or uphold. Not this potty mouth, do as I Please type of cop that puts people's lives in danger. If that's not enough, then we mess with their money Instead of having the taxpayers flip the bill for lawsuits caused by police. We need to gaunish their wages,
there pensions. And if police unions want to protect these bad apples and needs to come out of the union's funding source
Abolish qualified immunity now!
Thatβs Louisiana cops for ya
Karma
I love the work you do! I was just last night at a dinner. I sat next to an attorney and we had a great time. He and I talked about this very thing you are speaking of. He, by the way is a business lawyer not a criminal. We both agreed that liberty is to expensive. By that I mean and person that gets his rights violated can not afford to hire a lawyer to fight his crime and their appointed attorney convinces him to plead guilty and take a fine and probation. This is eroding our rights away, it's to expensive to fight. I feel lawyers must, I mean must cut fees to gain back our rights. Fight hard to get these bad cities, counties and police, state police back on track. It can be done but only by affordable attorneys.
Stop calling the nazis sir
<My attorney (( Tye Mensore in Olympia Washington State)) no care if copes brake State and Fed law. that how attorneys and law works regardless of reality. no regularly person has money to hire thousands to hire attorney for that up front!
"We just beat a man to death"
"Is it on camera?"
It's called classism dumb arseπππ. The thin blue line doesn't include JUSTICE ππβ€
Unbelievable
You make a good point about trusting the government. Many people who don't trust the government, trust private corporations. The question I pose to them is, who would you trust more? An organization in which you have some influence, no matter how small (voting), vs an organization over which you have absolutely no influence? Being a customer does not guarantee any influence, voting at least gives you one small share. Small beats zero.
i hope you do come up with a plan to stop this or make some kind of immunity nulling law pass or something, i've seen so much of this i'm afraid one day soon we will see all out war against police in every state across the country and no police officer or their families will be safe.
its getting so bad even conservative and military families know cops are a danger and not to trust them , average citizens fear cops more than criminals anymore.
i myself would not wear a uniform and sit in a police car without feeling nervous. anywhere.
i know its only %60 of the police in USA are bad and ego driven to escalate every encounter to hurt those they are supposed to protect but even the few good cops left will be in danger soon.
do cops get drug tested for steroids? they all seem too hopped up on testosterone or something or have anger driven personalities. something is seriously wrong. most kids fear cops now when i was a kid cops were safe people- heros. now they are the boogyman.
Love your insight.
