My dad was a cop for 30 years. When I went to high school I got treated badly by a few different people, a lot of them became cops.
When I told my dad about it years and years later my dad said: “oh I don’t believe that, if they were bad people the police wouldn’t hire them”.
My own father stood up for my bully who he had never met just because he became a cop.
