UPDATE! He Runs Away and Survives (but then encounters a police officer)

A 16-year-old boy was running for his life after being shot at in downtown San Diego. He was not a threat and not a suspect, yet he was shot in the back by a police officer who only saw him for ONE second before deciding to pull the trigger. Sadly, that young man lost his life that night, which I detailed in a video back in March. Now it has been announced that the City is set to agree to THE LARGEST police settlement in US history – 30 million dollars.

  1. This is bad, but it is a national problem. San Diego is the 6th safest city in America (with population over 300k). Coming from a Texas cop family, I respect the police in San Diego.
As for this particular incident, I do think the family deserves a fat lawsuit for this horrible accident, but I think 30 million, more than George Floyd's family received, is excessive.

  2. 6:25 i would argue, this is the reason it's part of the fourth amendment. Hear The victim was shot and the person who was actually attacking them. Seems to have gotten off free. So someone else or multiple, someone else's have been attacked in the time after.

  3. No matter what the boot lickers say to try to rationalize what the cop did, we saw the video. The cop saw no gun and didn't identify himself. The fact that the kid was SH●T IN THE BACK shows that the cop doesn't even have a good lie in saying he felt threatened. It would put the rest of us in prison. Let's start putting them in there more often. It should cut down the bs arrests and police violence when they realize that they have to face Bubba, too. Without their guns

  4. So us taxpayers paid for this officer’s stupidity & negligence? No! The officers pension plans, all responsible for putting this person in this job! Hold them all accountable or they’ll never get better!

  5. Ignorant tax paying people allow the ignorant government to try you as an adult when you are underage and say you had the knowledge to know better but if you are 16 and you have the knowledge to know that you need to be armed because the ignorant government is not protecting you on the streets oh wait you cannot be an adult sorry you're still underage and you're not allowed to carry We the ignorant people are so foolish 😢

  6. With both criminals and cops shooting everyone they see
Its no wonder he had a gun but didn't engage with the initial shooter or even pull it out
    What a shame poor kid
Could have been anyone running away from a shooting

  7. This was an execution plain and simple !!! The person committed no crime but was executed for no legal reason, this cop murdered this innocent man and must be prosecuted for murdering this innocent man !!!

  8. The cop should be sacked and decertified then prosecuted for murder. The cops ALWAYS LIE. Scared? Yes the cops do kill if they are scared. Stuff violation. It was murder.

  9. Cops like this would fail training at Burger King.
That's flippant but it's just disgusting how they act and what they get away with..
$30 million of locals' money for the unlawful acts of this officer and he's still employed?!
It's absolute insanity. (Sprinkled with a lot of corruption)
The cop should be charged with manslaughter, if not murder ffs!
