It should be mandatory for cops to study the laws during all of their free time. Factory workers have to sweep a swept floor to keep busy while on the clock. Bank tellers have to read through bank procedures during down time on the clock. There is no reason for cops to not know the laws that they are paid to uphold, especially with all of the down time they have. It's ridiculous. They are never held accountable for not knowing the law but think they can twist and fabricate laws when they want to arrest someone because their fragile egos get crushed. Shameful tyrants.
