CHILLIE. I kinda want you to read this comment I know you probably already know everything in it already but maybe couple things might be a good reminder atleast, and you don't have to comment back at all just take what you can frim it.
I would take note that the attorneys in this case were very very prepared. They probably spent a lot of time over this case and already had planned the answers for a lot of the questions the judge would possibly ask and try to trip them up on. They were very precise and knew what to say right off the bat and worded it with very thorough English and understanding. They've probably been in many cases before that case and feel a lot more comfortable etc etc. It's a lot diff then someone that's never been in a court case with high anxiety running and that's going to cause you not to think as sharp and quick while the judge and or prosecutor are both teaming up and taking hard jabs at you just to throw you off course or to try to atleast make you not sound as thorough. I feel like it's a lot harder then it looks and sounds and that these lawyers just make it look/sound easy because that's what a pro does, a pro makes what they do look easy but once you try it for the first time you're like damn that takes a bit of practice to be that good. Even if a person that was very familiar and knew what supreme court case laws, and what circuit court case laws to reference and use them to defend your case argument, without the practice and experience dealing with these judges and having a lot of preparation on what the judge could possibly argue against you with before he even tries, is half the battle. You have to be respectful also, can't get made or thrown off temper by some of the just dumb dumb things the judge brings up because it's obvious he's against these lawyers and wants protect his system before the person that got arrested for 1st amendment protected activity. I bet money they just know to bite their tongues and remain professional as possible saying "your honor" this, "your honor" that… I bet money those lawyers leave that court room saying to each other wow that judge was just a fool I can't believe he tried to trample us like that what a piece of garbage (for example).
I think if you or whoever in the "community" ever has a chance to fight/win a very good case law that would help "we the people" , I think it's well worth it and much smarter to raise the funds for the best lawyer that we can possibly find that has a lot of case law experience, a lawyer that has won similar type or just a plain civil rights case law before or multiple times before. We want to use a lawyer that's already won them before, you almost know he's probably not dirty or can't be bought out because imagine a dirty lawyer getting your money for the case and also being in a little behinds the scenes circle with the judge, prosecutor, or just someone in gov paying him to lose the case because then the gov gains the power from it. Idc if it's 100k. If everyone in the movement all rallied up together and raised funds into one big pool for one good case law at a time raising 100k+ for the best lawyer on the books for case law wins, that 100k+ raised is nothing compared to the win for the people. And just keep going and going with that concept. (One good case law we need after another).
Just some thoughts to throw at the table anyways. Maybe not all are good ones but some might be I feel. I'm a deep thinker on this stuff and iv watched videos within this type of movement for a long time now and iv always had a natural outside the box thought process on things like this.
Why risk losing a case law fighting your own case when never having much experience in a court with awful judges challenging you at every step. Chillie if that was you in that case you showed the judge would of came at you twice as hard I bet because he would already of looked you up and knew you were representing yourself and probably wouldn't respect you. He would be way more biased I feel and if that was.you in that case and even when mentioning the same case laws, you still could of lost. That's how I just feel the real life situation would of gone but I could be wrong.
Also that female making the case arguments did such a good job I felt. Very to the point and just had the simplest but thorough responses for everything the judge threw at her and to the point he really had nothing to really say at any of her responses if you really notice. It's like she already had those responses pre made. She was good. I bet she and the other guy put a lot of prep time/hours into this. Just made it look easy. A court case i feel is like a paint job on a vehicle, to get a really good job most of the work is in the prep work.
