And 1 officer force there sves in to my home and me under Dr's. Care that was ( veterans dr. Care.)due to gun shot from Viet Nam I told them about it no warrant all because I ran my g/f off at the time my friend was dispatched out but refused to come later told me why and he also was written up and passed over for promotion due to this yea I got roughed up but not before I did my damage before it was over with was battling 5 cops until a plain clothed det. Arrived a d told them to stop they were all wrong in this manner he took me in himself and he is my friend he was always like my son his dad and I were good friends he had to know about Vietnam nam and I told hi. I was a former Green Beret and always will be and he is still my friend and step son. A good officer of the law something we need more of not no glory hounds. Love you jo jo
We the people does that sound at all familiar to any body especially to the employees of any law enforcement organization who suppose to protect and serve us the citizens of this great country. How can we expect any of this when 99%of those employed have no idea what it means they are suppse to be schooled on such things such as our amendments and constitutional laws and rights and they have no idea I had a friend that became a local policeman who after about 6 mos on the force who was over to my house one evening as was everyday cos everybody dishoned him after becoming a deputy and I told him why cos nobody likes or trusts any cop I asked him how many of his fellow officers did he like or trust he said none lol I said how do u expect your friends to feel long story short it went on and he got realy irate at me cause I told hi. I was still his friend and as long as I paid his salary I was also his boss he didn't like that so he challenged me in my house so I put an old fashioned whip ass on him and after it was over I told hi. I was still his friend but gave him some friendly advice if this is what you want to do for a living don't let it consume your brain get a better job outside of being a road patrol we lost touch for few yrs but he tracked me down text me on fb and is about to retire from law enforcement with the federal got. I'm proud to say my friend is a lieutenant on an Indian Reservation where he transferred over from being a deputy said what I told him had haunted him since and he is still my friend

The current system is give a poorly trained kid a badge and gun and tell him to fight crime however he sees fit. Btw, he need not know the laws he enforces. No legal exams. I'm a disabled man with only one good hand and brain injuries. The Sheriff ruined my life, cost me my wife from a false arrest. Manipulated body cam footage and refuse to turn over the other, plus the 2 from the cars. I'm now a felon for trying to stand up for my rights on my property. No other agency would help or investigate the lying tyrant. My 1st, 4th, and 14th Amendment rights were violated and personal property stolen. They broke my one good hand, denied me medical attention, and almost didn't give me a phone call. He told me, my father, and my wife the footage is his personal property, and he decides who sees it, no one else. Please keep up the good work. The South is so CORRUPT!

Are there any statistics or studies about this claim?
I know studies that say that the USA have the highest density in weapons per capita (except Switzerland) AND the highest murder rate per capita. So distributing "freely" guns to the population massively increase the risc of beeing shot (and killed).
And I had also a statistics that the police force in one county in New Jersey fired more bullets on duty than the whole german police force in one year.
There are some valid points in this "presentation" like education is the key. So why you train your police officers only 12 weeks? Why not training them 2 years like suggested here and current policy for german police men?
And reform your prison system. Shift the focus from punishing "in dungeons", as it is stated here to rehabilitation. Countries that focus on preventing future crimes when incarcerating people, like Norway, have much less people in prison (per capita) as the US.
Then you dont need a large portion of your population running around filming every aspect of people's life and another large portion of the population peeping on screens watching everybody's life on video.
