Jury finds Cop Guilty of Civil Rights Violation after he flips the bird to the camera



Former police officer Everett Maynard was found guilty by a federal jury on November 18, 2021 of violating an arrestee’s civil rights.

Maynard was convicted by a jury in Charleston, WV for using excessive force against an arrestee while he was a police officer with the Logan, West Virginia, Police Department.

  1. So this thug got what was coming to him wearing a badge does not give them the power they think it does! Cleaning up that blood like he did was not done correctly blood and other human fluid is a biohazard and has to be cleaned up the correct way, he should be charged with that! He needs to be in prison for 25 years.

  2. all law enforcement officers should be required to purchase their own professional liability insurance so taxpayers are not held responsible for the leo's actions. only when they pay financially or personally will this type of behavior change.

  3. I wish every lawyer fought like a civil rights lawyer. I have had court appointed lawyers to tell me to plead guilty and i already had it worked out with the place the check was written and the DA . Had a mishap at the bank and i could prove it so i payed the place and they dropped the charges and my lawyer didn't show up to the meeting and on the day of court i just assumed he spoke with the DA and she toldcmevtwice i should plead guilty. And called me the wrong name . Its like having another lawyer working against you.
