  1. How insane is it that an officer with 30+ years has zero idea not only about the protections afforded by the constitution but also has zero education on a vast number of basic common case law

  2. Lol the old man isnt used to someone being so articulated, educated and prepared to challenge everything he says. Hes clearly not used to someone structuring their questions in a way that over the extended period of the deposition he can unravel and show contradiction from the answers the old man has given. Hes clearly not used to dealing with someone who knows case law and supreme court rulings that provide protections for what his client was doing and could use those rulings to create a scenario showing just how incompetent, uneduçated and contradictory the old man is.

  3. Lmao once the supreme court case from the 80s was mentioned and read out loud, the old man started to realize just how bad they all messed up. Everything he claimed from part 3 about how he felt toward arrests made against someone over their speech completely changed. At first he agreed that if society found someones speech offensive it constituted disorderly conduct and could be an arrestable offense but in this video his opinion was the complete opposite

  4. This attorney is a trooper.

This "expert", however, meets the textbook definition ALL of the following:
vacuous, lackluster, incompetent, unreliable, obfuscatory, mendacious, vexatious, noxious, and just plain old dumb.

This video needs to be played at his Church (if he has one, given cops are not god-fearing people), his city council meeting, at his grandchildren's school (as an object lesson), on the local news, at the local law school…with the heading:

    "Who's HUSBAND / Dad / Grandpa / Uncle / Neighbor / Friend is THIS?"

Attorney: "You agree that you don't need a LEGAL reason to hit a sign?"

Obfuscator: "No, you do not need a legal reason to do that"

    UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE!!!!!!!

  5. This is an embarrassment to law enforcement. This “expert” admits that he hasn’t had any training in constitutional law for decades. He clearly bases his expert opinions on his training and experience in the 1960s!

  6. The saddest part of this is that this guy has already been "Certified as an expert" in the Texas courts 40-50 times. My option of our JUSTICE system just keeps getting lower… and lower…

  7. Can we just recognize that police can arrest you for ANYTHING they want. The sole purpose of the police is to arrest citizens and collect taxes for the state. The majority do not know or care about the Constitution or civil liberties. “Officer safety” is the highest law of the land.

  8. I’ve seen all four videos. It is very disturbing to see these officers so clueless that don’t even realize where they’re wrong. It’s even more disturbing that this mindset is in many public offices from senate to school boards. Where so many people make it a career to stay in some type of office without being in-touch with times. I’ve seen both officers (in 4 videos) and it is aware to me that both should have been retired (not due to age) 10-15 years earlier. There mindset is so backwards and blinded. It is actually a mis service to the community to have these gentlemen in any type of office. I wouldn’t trust they’re judgement or assessment in even a school crosswalk position.

  9. Soo. I'm only into 13 mins into this one. And I get the impression he's waiting to be told what to say during the really tough questions.. he's not thinking.. he's waiting to read what to say.. imo

  10. The guy sounded really stupid. The US Supreme Court has said that it’s better for citizens to not answer police question . Ohio v Terry : The court also ruled that the police officer may perform a quick surface search of the person's outer clothing for weapons if they have reasonable suspicion that the person stopped is "armed and presently dangerous." This reasonable suspicion must be based on "specific and articulable facts," and not merely upon an officer's hunch. Nothing in Ohio v Terry said that officer can search a person for he’s or her safety.
