In an instance like this you probably should have noted his license plate number and vehicle number, your speed and how many seconds it took for him to outdistance you (note your mileage and how many seconds it took, in a mile) for the cop to leave you behind. Or tag along at about 80 to 85 and leave it. Be careful though, they could lead you into a speed trap.
I would have taken that citation, went to court and for the chiefs to be dropped I’d make a deal for mine to be and for that chief to publicly apologize on the local news from a conference. Why in the fuck would he be doing over 120
