  1. In my opinion this settlement is too low… It should be about four or five times as much.. Is the crops nothing but animals.. Get rid of qualified immunity and police unions also.

  2. something seems to be missing here . I don't think they're showing the whole video…just a hunch, seems like they may have skipped what happened before he couldn't breath. I could be wrong.

  3. He was resisting… the cuffed him and restrained him… clearly this man already had something very wrong with him already. It wasn't just that he was speaking that makes 'I can't breathe.' not make sense. He's having trouble breathing? Alright… you're in an altercation… it's also the #1 thing yelled by every shitbag the second they're grabbed. The cop's hands are nowhere near your head or throat, he's not on the guy's back. Really seems like y'all want an excuse to get worked up so you're making one. Does it suck this happened to this man? Yeah. Should he have resisted arrest after getting in an accident? No. Should he have clearly stated whatever severe medical condition he had if he knew about it? For sure. If for some reason this favorably edited clip left out more brutal treatment or him saying something about his fragile health, maybe I feel different. As it is, don't see how you have functional law enforcement when 'I can't breathe' means let the suspect go. Man crashes car into another car. Man is detained. Man resists. Cops can a)let suspect go because reasons and nobody is ever held accountable for anything or b) take reasonable measures to subdue the person and get them to stop fighting them. They took option b and I approve.
