Watch the uncensored RAW taser clip posted at the blog post link. Watch it first, then tell me whether you see "passive resistance" or someone who poses an immediate threat to Officer Kehoss? https://thecivilrightslawyer.com/2023/11/01/officer-in-huge-trouble-over-his-taser-use/
Also, big thanks to Zack K. for helping me edit all the F bombs out of this video!
In case anyone is wondering a taser is only to be used for a combative person not someone being passive resistant. DA need to start prosecuting more officers because this is explained in training in all police agencies in the USA
i bet his mom is proud of having a coward for a son.
how's that for composure and professionalism. What a role model, he is NO doubt a coward himself !
🐷🐷🐷🐖🐖🐖
He should be barred from law enforcement for life.
I got my ass kicked for eating a pill even though it was eventually with held basically dismissed after probation i got choked and kicked by two cops close fist punched my head slammed into dirt and told i was going to get Bear sprayed if i went to the hospital that day st Lucie county sheriff protected and served in Florida
You were told the police are the "good guys"
You were lied to
All a bunch of power hungry cowards
"Turn it off or you die" Now we know what they are teaching cops
Sounds like hs own department are sick of him, only reason they'd report. 10 yrs history and he will still be a cop if he's let off. Scary.
The situation is under control. Why is there a need for another law-enforcement vehicle to be running in emergency mode?
Potty mouth
Amazing, and San Francisco they just let them run.
It’s apparently not a crime
There was an immediate safety threat. The subject had just committed an armed robbery with his accomplice. Where was the weapon? The officer’s safety and the public at large were in danger until the subject was handcuffed.
The title doesn't match the video at least not 3 minutes in…
More wannabe hero 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷
He fukd around and he found out. 😂
This dude is power tripping….and apparently can’t handle stressful situations….seriously they need to have a test for stressful situations on new cops…see who they really are.
The cop tased him 3 times , I don't think this was that bad , come on , he fled , bumping into a police car .
The departments do not do a good job on psychological testing of applicants.
Let's just call the initial contact between the 2 vehicle what it is, a No Fault situation!
I've seen cops jump out of a car and instantly start screaming stop resisting to a guy that was sitting on a park bench smoking a cigarette. They have been trained to say stop resisting to covering themselves For the use of force. They however, have failed to take into account body worn cameras, and individuals with cameras in their pockets. Until we get DA's and judges who will hold cops accountable nothing will ever change. We the people need to start voting in people who actually give a damn.
"I think I pissed myself sir" 😂
To me it more looks like he all ready used deadly force against a officer and they didn't know if a is armed or not and the risk of them pulling a knife or something else was high so idk
Thanks the the civil rights lawyer for helping fight for our rights I salute you sir
The officer who used the taser needs some jail time himself in my opinion that is
Tired of the Police State …has no right to use that language
After hitting the cop car as he was fleeing, gotta say that I don't feel too bad for the suspect.
Brutal, sadistic police officers trained to use unbelievable violence in the face of the slightest opposition by word, gun, taser, handcuff or fist. And more often than not they seem to enjoy it. Ordering people around just to satisfy their ego and because they can. No empathy, no compassion towards the physical and mental pain they cause. No concept of human dignity. On Sundays that kind of provincial cop goes to church. Can you imagine their wives, children and dogs?
Female police officers having to prove something by being even more aggressive than their male counterparts. How many of them have their period when they appear on auditor videos?
Talking over and down on any person they encounter. Their arrogance and feelings of entitlement are absolutely harrowing for anybody who is not a citizen of the Country of the Free, of the Best Country in the World. Ridiculous!!!
Armed to the teeth, drunk on their power, more often than not obese with fat bellies and arms like pork hams excusing their intolerable behaviour with officer safety. And by law even permitted to LIE!!! In a country that aspires to be a role model for the world. To shape the world to their Christian standards! One nation under GOD? Where is their GOD, where are the teachings of Jesus in all of this? Not in their hearts, for sure!
A country where a police officer can handcuff you and order you to sit on the curb like a dog.
(Shall I commence licking your boots, kind Sir?)
A country where arguing your rights is obstructing and the handcuffs come out. And a gloved finger up your arse after being booked. And a constant repetition of "you are not listening, you are not listening!" “I am not going to argue with you!” Of course not. The average police officer is not naturally equipped to do so, second never trained to even use the small amount of intelligence in his/her uneducated brain and third drilled to bark commands and expect immediate obedience. A working dog of a K9 unit on a leash being followed by its police handler will actually raise the average combined IQ of the squad. One of them chewing gum anyways and thus looking STUPID like some kind of ruminant animal.
A country where solutions to many problems, domestic and international, involve the use of violence, of lead out of barrels. Thank you, Hollywood!
A country that since 1776 to present day has been at war for 228 years of its laughable short 246 years of existence!
A country where you are not allowed to enjoy a beer on the beach but watch the worst free degrading porn sites in the world (on your i-phone on the beach if you wish to do so).
A country that tortures prisoners of war, has the highest number of prison inmates, the highest number of infancy and gun related deaths among all developed countries. Switzerland and Finland have a similar number of guns in private households. Why don`t the Finns and Swiss shoot each other? What is wrong with you violent Americans?
A country where Trump supporters proudly display gaps in their bad teeth when they give interviews on T.V. thus demonstrating they are no welfare lefties and guns are cheaper than dentists. People in Asia and Europe are actually laughing at American tourists who refuse medical emergency services in their countries of fear that it will bankrupt them. Being not accustomed to tax-funded welfare and care from their government. What is wrong with you Christian Americans?
Being forced to pledge allegiance theatrically with a hand over one`s heart to that kind of state power at a very young age must have a devastating effect on critical thinking.
A country where baseball caps, short cargo pants and sneakers are the height of fashion and their wearers are addressed as buddy, dude or bro. Very few others stand on red carpets in Gucci attire and are broadcasted around the world because they can ・・・・・・・・・・・・sing or act! The rest in uniform (look at the bling on those police chiefs` uniforms, GOLDEN STARS AND GOLDEN RIBBONS AND GOLDEN SLEEVE STRIPES and GOLDEN BUTTONS !!!!) is called Sir and Ma`am and deserves respect. As are the veterans of countless wars who are told “Thank you for your service” (in Mỹ Lai, Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay), killers sent in the name of American interests to foreign lands. What is wrong with you blind Americans?
Did you apologize for breaking International Law in Iraq?
Six million deaths after 1945 because of American wars. What level of mental stupefaction do you need not to see how despised Americans are around the world.
Don`t CONFRONT the world with weapons and violence, just confront yourselves! With guns and the denial of facts! I love it when I see Americans violate, maim and kill each other to their hearts` content. And justify it with upholding the law. And telling themselves they are FREE. Otherwise repeating over and over "Lord Jesus", "Oh my God" and "motherfucker", “fucking car”, “fucking I.D.”, “fucking this”, “fucking that” in every sentence. Oh, so educated, oh such a beacon of civilization, oh the civil liberty to disregard basic manners and human rights.
If I had been born in the U.S.A. I would have wanted to become a police officer. The salary! The benefits! The feeling of power! The compensation for small genitals and menstrual pains! Wonderful!!!
A big thank you for showing the world what the American pledge of “liberty and justice for ALL” truly means. For me, only one in 8,000,000,000 on this planet today, it is just a meaningless hollow sound, fading in my ears.
I’ve never seen a police officer act that way and be reprimanded. I’m glad there are chiefs out there that do take this seriously and do take action. The paid vacation still pisses me off, but there are politics that are out of the hands of the chief a lot of the time.
I got choked by a cop while handcuffed to a hospital bed, the nurse walked in, seen what was happening and full on body checked the cop off of me and started yelling at him. The nurse told me he’d be willing to testify and make sure he’d lose his job.
NOTHING happened to that cop!
This is their training.
What other profession can you act like and talk like the criminals and still be employed?
MOST ARE NARCISSISTIC PSYCHOPATHS
I don't really feel bad for the "perps" as they used what I would assume to be a gun to try to rob someone. I agree the officer violated policy and should be punished.
that dude is TOTALY not fit fo duty
from the start on he is more dangerous then most criminals
Yes, he used some expensive use of force, but I think his Chief of Police sacrificed the officer for him to look good in the black community
There is a lot of blanks to fill in, in this one. The suspect had just committed an attempted robbery, was it an armed robbery !? That could make an important distinction in how dangerous the officer perceived the suspect to be. The first tasing was probably not justified based on the department's protocol, but the condition of the assailant being a robbery suspect, could effect the officer's judgement based on a rapid decision belief that the suspect might be armed, and since the suspect was not running away from the officer, the officer could have thought the suspect was turning to fight. The 2nd tasing when the suspect was failing to comply with the officers orders appears to be motivated by animus rather than necessity, and the 3rd tasing, was completely unjustifiable. Clearly both the suspect and the officer were in fright flight fight mode. But the officer's training and experience after 13 years should reflect better impulse control and better proficiency at communication, the abusive yelling could trigger a rational person to run. Mentally the situation is a lot to keep track of. I've seen similar body cam videos where the officer pulls his gun instead of a taser and shoots the suspect in the back. The suspect in this case is lucky to be alive. Since this officer has been disciplined for this kind of protocol violation, and was even demoted from Sagt to officer for failing to comply with department policy, that is a strong indicator that this is a problem with this officer that is not going to get better with time, but will likely get worse as time goes on.
This may be a problem resulting from inadequate training, if the policy lays out specific guidelines concerning the use of force, and this kind of behavior continued to be exhibited, then it is a discipline problem.
The charges seem fair considering the details of the case that are public. He should be charged with assault, but the display of animus, notable by extended time of the 3rd tasing event, might quality the charge of 2nd degree assault depending on what the jurisdiction's rule is to differentiate those charges and whether they are felony or misdemeanor charges in their jurisdiction. The officer has the same constitutional right to due process, and the presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a court of law. It will be interesting to see how this case plays out in court.
Officer over did it
So, the Nazi gets a paid vacation.
the rest of this aside, am I the only one that gets upset when cops tell people to "shut up" or "be quiet" or "stop talking"? It seems like a clear issue of 1st deprivation. besides that, cops should WANT people to talk. the more they ramble the digger ditch they dig themselves. there's a reason cops HATE the 5th amendment right to remain silent. because when you stay silent, it makes it harder for you to self-incriminate willfully.
The other cop seems like the crazy one. Threatening to kill people
lol I applied to be a cop and after seeing these videos I can see why they turned me down.
Too moral to do the job.
I live in the Virginia, the state now known for the place where state police pepper sprayed a military veteran for asking why he was being stopped.
i see no problem with how this was handled these actual criminals dont deserve decency when you act like that.
When tasers were first being talked about being introduced I'm sure they said it would only be used as an alternative to lethal force and would not be used just to gain compliance from a non violent person as this would be considered torture. This was supposed to reassure the public but as we've seen many times cops use tasers regularly just to get someone to do what they want in non violent situations that are non life threatening.
I could be wrong but it looks to me like the cop reversed into the guy fleeing and not the way the cops described it as "he hit them". I know this is a small thing to pick on but it could result in much harsher charges and when cops lie about little things they're capable of lying about bigger incidents. For too long a cops word was taken as truth but as we've come to see time again thanks to cameras they lie and manipulate the truth to fit their narrative. It's about time each cop was held truly responsible if they lie on reports, in Court and should either get rid or reform QI instead of taxpayers always having to pay for their " mistakes" and corruption.
