It's called youth court. If he is under the age of 18 and is constantly ditching school then the school, parent or truancy officer can report him to the authorities or CPS and a judge can order him to school or he goes to juvenile detention. Threatening to shoot a child is never the way. Dumbass.
If he had a doctors appointment he and he missed it and it was serious and something happened to him they could be charged with interference with medical services
They technically can't keep him there if the kid and his parents was smart he could have sued the school and the lady who held him there. Technically didn't do their jobs correctly in this matter.
