You know I don't have the courage to do what you do, but I had an idea that could really expand your efforts immensely.
Aren't we allowed underv FOIA to request body cam footage?
I would love to be part of some civilian team that routinely reviews body cam footage.
Think about the THOUSANDS of interactions that occur, the THOUSANDS of things that cops do that DONT become public.
Think about it. No PD can review that much footage.
So the footage is dumped into a database UNSEEN unless there is some kind of a complaint.
Then they pull the video out and to see if complaint is legit.
Let's go the other way.
Let's look at the videos that don't get complaints and see what's going on.
Lets see those times when the cop thinks to himself. "Oh man, I just did that on the video. I hope it doesn't come back to me."
