Sec. 38.02. FAILURE TO IDENTIFY. (a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally refuses to give his name, residence address, or date of birth to a peace officer who has lawfully arrested the person and requested the information.
(b) A person commits an offense if he intentionally gives a false or fictitious name, residence address, or date of birth to a peace officer who has:
(1) lawfully arrested the person;
(2) lawfully detained the person; or
(3) requested the information from a person that the peace officer has good cause to believe is a witness to a criminal offense.

(1) is an operator of a motor vehicle, as defined by Section 32.34, who is lawfully detained by a peace officer for an ALLEGED violation of a law;
(2) fails to provide or display the person's driver's license on the officer's request for the license; and

They arrested her for filming a bs arrest of the driver and for the audacity to film it the took her phone to arrest her. She complied with everything they wanted of her. Stepping back, shutting up. They tried to push anything they could on the man they stopped. He's interrogated about his clothes, car to search it and drugs. The cop asked the most irrelevant questions about their dating life and understandably so the driver gets irritated as to why he's asked that.
It's very awkward that he's addressing questions to the driver while standing on the passenger side.
This short should be deleted to be honest. I’ve been a “fan” of this channel for a long time because of the mainly impartial judgement and “fairness” but unless I’m missing something, the cop was in the right here, I’m assuming maybe there wasn’t enough time to fit full context into a YouTube short? She shouldn’t have interjected at all after the cop acknowledged her ownership of the car and asked to speak to only the driver. The driver commuted the infraction, also, what’s up with the “please stop shining your light down my dress”??? Unless you had your feet on the dashboard/windshield, that’s not even possible. If she was wearing a low cut dress, she could easily adjust her dress to cover herself if she really felt that uncomfortable. She’s clearly looking to either cause trouble or trying to play a victim card. Where’s the context???
I don't actually see anything wrong with this interaction. If the guy was driving, it doesn't matter if she owns the car, he is the one that the cop needs to talk to about whatever it is the stop is for. I assume since she owns the car she would know about the insurance and registration, but other than that, it seems like the driver should be answering the rest of the questions.
I dont see how anyone really did anything wrong here other than the woman being a little too assertive.
Lady is very hostile. Cop seems to be trying to dismiss her and continue with the traffic stop. If I drive my wife’s car and I’m going 15 over the speed limit I’m the one commiting the traffic infraction not her…
