I've got a "crosswalk blockers" video and a cop blocks sidewalk in driveway video. Dangerous out there on bikes. I got a ticket for blocking my own sidewalk for 10 minutes but people hated on me for posting the cop block. Haha.
The sargeant tried to get him for not stopping at the stop sign? Wtf.
If you stop at the sign you can’t see the traffic.
The LAW says you stop at the line, which in this case looks pretty faded but is about 20’ forward of the sign.

He immediately, and defensively, states ‘I got a text from another phucking officer!’. Ridiculous! Also, you gotta presume that other officer was also driving while utilizing his phone!!!
They probably not even site him for this or hold him accountable at any level for his actions. Everyone there was trying to shift the blame. The officer admitted his guilt when he got out of the patrol car. He should have taken the total charges and multiplied it by ten for a settlement.

My bike was only two thousand, and you can't just do a old school simple fix… you need to be skilled or educated on the matter or take it to a bikeshop 😆 even a cop bicycle is a relative piece of garbage, in comparison.
And this isn't even the most expensive when you get into the style they are using they go up to 10k to 20k and the best even being more
It's ok when we do it…. It's only bad when YOU do it. Because obviously we are better at….even though there is no extra training for driving WHILE distracted. I guess that's why they don't want everyone else being distracted, that way everyone else can be on the lookout for THEM.

I’ve not had issue with Peculiar, but next door is Belton MO and I once called in a complaint about a cops driving when he slammed on his brakes and then hit his right signal as he start turning. Some of these cops drive quite poorly.

I generally support firefighters, but that idiot thinks that because he assembled a kid's bike on x-mas eve that he knows how to repair a $7,000 carbon frame pro level racing bike that's been hit by a car? Those bikes have tight specs, you certainly don't adjust the handlebars the way he was trying to do. "Hey, have you got an allen wrench?" As for that fireman thinking he is fixing the bike, the bike is carbon fiber and will need to be x-rayed to verify that it is not fractured and safe to ride

Cyclist's fault
The most striking thing here is the highway patrol officer trying to misattribute blame for literally no other reason than the thin blue line. The crash may have been a mistake but that is not. It should terrify the public seeing these people try to cover up after one another even when they aren't asked to and don't even know one another, work for the same department, or have any stake whatsoever in the current situation. Shout out to the weirdo firefighter trying to convince JW that the bike was fine (again, while having no stake in it being fine) and the insurance company lowballing JW knowing he couldn't realistically afford to push back.
Ehhh, I have no sympathy for people who ride bicycles on streets… This guy seems like he is putting himself in harms way just to get people to be pissed off at him so he can get views. Case in point the shot of where he is bicycling just outside of the bicycle lane IN the lane for cars.
