A little over a year ago, an army of small town cops, went outside their jurisdiction, showed up at the wrong address for a midnight raid over a stolen weedeater that belonged to a local politician. They busted into an innocent man’s home in the middle of the night, shooting and killing 63 year-old Doug Harless, a man loved by his community. As you may know from my first video on this from back on January 3 of last year, the cops were refusing to release any information on what happened. They claimed they had a warrant, but they still haven’t released it – even a year later. The mayor has played dumb for over a year. They claimed that the Kentucky State Police were investigating – though they’ve basically said nothing – even now, a year later. As it turns out, now we know why.

  1. The whole situation makes my blood boil. And I have a dear cousin who lives just 5 minutes away from there. Was there visiting last August. To think that could've easily been him, his wife, or his children if they'd managed to mess up the street name…

  2. Kentucky must be a hell"va place to try and live. Way to much corruption, judge sex ring ran out of the jail, Sheriff kills judge and this. How come the FBI hasn't gone in there.

  3. Shocking …NOT!!! It’s another day in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Where you can have your house broken into by police , and have the additional injuries of being shot and killed. Laurel County Law Enforcement needs to rise up and protect your citizens

  4. Okay, Mr. John Bryant, why don't you tell me again? How I shouldn't take the law into my own hands, how I should argue my case in court. Because lawyers are so inexpensive in attainable. For everybody, why don't you tell me how if I discomply? And work with the nice officers and then hire a lawyer that it'll workout for me. In court, when they can come into the wrong house in the middle of the night and murder, somebody tell me why I shouldn't shoot back. Tell me why I shouldn't dispend myself in the moment on the spot.Tell me why I should not fight on the side of the road.Because it'll all work out later.I'm seeing a lot of it, not working out for anybody except for the cops and they know it

  5. so someone steels a weed eater & is still in jail a year later & cops break into an innocent man's home & shoot him & they get off ? so killing someone = ok stealing a weed eater = bad

  6. Why can't they have a dedicated "Address Verification" officer on every raid who's job it is to sign their PERSONAL name after verifying at least as well as a Dominos or Amazon driver, that it's the right damn house?! Have they never heard of "Google Maps"? How do they get this wrong so often and why is no one ever held accountable when they go to the wrong frikken house?! What about the team leader at least? Just…NO ONE is responsible for making sure theyre at the right house?
This is absurd. We shouldn't have to live like this! No accountability. 🙄

  7. It's hard to understand this case. Did the police, or the politician they were apparently doing a favour for, have an animus against Mr. Harles? Or the resident of 489 Vanzant? I love the details of when the Grand Jury was convened. This is prime news fodder.

  8. Seems to be a lot of crime by kenfucky LEO's that flying under the radar of accountability lately. The good people of Kentucky might have to go vigilante & reign in the unlawful kenfucky LEO's

  9. Over a weed eater? What the heck! They took someone's life over a frickin weed eater. Sounds like the judge, the prosecutor and any police department involved needs to be held accountable. And what the heck is up with holding a special grand jury on a National holiday? Sounds like there is all kinds of shenanigans going on in this area of KY. Everyone involved neeeds to be prosecuted.
