  1. Cop in England doing twelve years for murder for killing a man with his tazer, he also kicked him so hard on the head while he was down that he left the track off his boot, his partner also got jail time even though she didn't touch the guy but she didn't help him either.

  2. I'm old. Is a Taser dangerous? Assuming orders are heard which is IMHO a bad assumption, there must be a reasonable time to think. But what seems to be required is immediate, instantaneous, if not sooner compliance. Either that or find an excuse to hurt someone?

  3. And this is sad. My interaction with college cops was so different. I was never arrested or charged or convicted of any crimes during this ( my) college experience but I do recollect the “ campus cops” as being restrained and low key professionals. Of course a different time and place 1964-1968, Univ. Of Mass at Amherst, Mass.

  4. I attended A&M way back in the 70's. The cops in College Station were as brutal then as they are now. Most were stupid, country boys with a gun and badge. They were actually scary.

  5. I lived in Texas for 4 years. Many of these people moving there from CA and else where may get a surprise. TX cops are tough, they don't care about rights. I had friend was at party he ran off with a vacuum. He was drunk, cop fired a shot above him to get him to stop. They play by there rules.

  6. The common-sense rule applies here, what is the seriousness of the potential offence, what danger does the cyclist pose and what should be a sensible outcome. From the video viewed the use of force by the officers is disproportionate to any offence or sensible outcome, the motorcycle cop was just acting like he was out of control and on a power trip. The police should be sued and made to pay for reckless endangerment!

  7. I have heard that this was for running a red and also for jaywalking. Not surprising as I've heard of people in Texas getting stopped for both while on a bike. You're Schrodinger's cyclists and must follow both sets of rules- good luck at intersections!

  8. These domestic terrorist criminal thugs in the clown costumes do realize that we as citizens have the right to defend ourselves against unlawful use of excessive unnecessary force with force up to and including deadly force right?

  9. I usually agree with ya but I didn’t see a problem with this. If this guy wouldn’t have ran from the cop in the SUV and resisting he wouldn’t have got tazed. Most of these videos out there involve people resisting. Anyways I’m a fellow Mountaineer and I have a lot of respect for what you do. I grew up in Roane county.

  10. Smh! It appears that the cops are acting like retards. First off, the cops should have used their loud speaker system to tell the guy to stop? How is he suppose to know that they were after him, unless there had been previous contact not shown on this clip. Either way I agree, there was no need for the taser.

  11. A lot of these laws or case law opinions they come up with always leave wiggle room for the government actor and not so much room for their victims. I love how in the wording they have "reasonable person" or officers are allowed to use their discretion but we as the people are not allowed to use our discretion if the law, policy, statute or code should be adhered to. It seems to me being a "reasonable person" that in fact I have the right to use my own discretion. Let's stop enforcing victimless "crimes" and stop making laws that turn otherwise law abiding people's in to criminals.

  12. Cops bending your arm the wrong way when attempting to cuff you, the know exactly what they are doing. You are either supposed to flinch in pain which is resisting to cops, or even if you try to twist your arm the right way (but you can’t cuz the cop is holding it the wrong way), and again that’s resisting. (They also like to claim that you were fighting, non-compliant, etc.)

  13. I grew up and lived in the UCF area for 25 years. Campus cops would come out onto Alafaya trail all the way to East Colonial and back the other way towards University. Got pulled once by them and told them to kick rocks, I don't go to your school. They kicked rocks

  14. I was charged with hitting an officer when I put my hand up when the cop forc the second time made the horse hit me while walking down a side walk. Tacked and charged with resisting, assault on an officer (horse). Ever since. I don't see any cop not lying for their benefit. Show me a good cop, I'll show u a round square
