That judgeโs comments were inappropriate and clearly biased against victim of the false arrest. She should be reported to the Board of Ethics and investigated for misconduct. In my opinion a vote of no confidence should be levied against her.

According to LackLuster, the cops involved in this unlawful arrest was not in court. So how is it that they are excused from appearance of court when anyone else would have a bench warrant on them. Just food for thought, when I was in law enforcement, we were required to appear in court for any case that we're the arresting or witnessing officer to or have a warrant out for us.
The so-called judge allowed her own biases to leak into her closing remark. Sheโs wrong in my opinion and justifying the illegal behavior of the cops after she found the defendant not guilty is an egregious violation of her oath of office.

That attorney did very well. I detest when judges interject their irrelevant opinions particularly following an acquittal. He didnโt ask to get arrested and violated. He sure didnโt ask for police to perjure themselves in attempting to exact revenge for their damaged pride.
