Details/ Raw Clip: https://thecivilrightslawyer.com/2023/11/09/cop-charged-with-murder-shoots-suspicious-paint-suspect/
So was the paint suspicious in the can? I don't want to buy and use any paint that may get me or my family shot.
The senior cop is just as guilty.
Barn logic 🐖
Since when is it a crime to have a crapy paint job
Cops always dbl and illegally park… they are suspicious.
Did they have anyone from the business call and complain about the car being parked in "two" spots, or are they applying city laws onto a vehicle that is sitting on private property?
Furthermore people modify their vehicles all the time 😊
These cops clearly had nothing to do.
Wtf kind of "protocol" is that horse shit??? No wonder why people hate cops, still haven't heard a song that says fk the firemen or ambulance people yet.
He's gonna be getting his shit packed by bubba for that
Defund the police!!!!!
Private property you can double park!!!!!!
Those suspicious paint jobs are a menace to society!!!!!!!
I did not think cops were allowed just to go on private property where they are not summoned to to mess with a parked vehicle
Now that alarm made him suspicious
From the cam footage made avail here, I see zero justification for the usage of deadly force
Colorado cops are fucking terrifying
Roles reversed on this one.
The fact that the car was painted AND there was an attempt made to obscure the VIN number, that's an entirely reasonable suspicion that it may be a stolen car. If the driver was trying to HIT the officers with the car, then deadly force could be authorized. If he was just fleeing (which seems to be the case) then this was a bad shoot.
We'll have to see how it plays out in court
Nope. He did not have any justification..i say it was almost profiling from the start.
The car parked on private property did not warrant a check by the officers and when it came back clean, that was the end of any investigation. Just because it had been painted, does not prove criminal activity or a criminal activity took place.
The officers then escalated the situation by going in to the store.
Yhey probably ran because he knew how corrupt the police were and had some kind of run in eith them but no criminal record.
Once the car came back clean that was the start and end of any investigation they were doing. Thid was plain cold blooded muder.
The other officer should have been charged with after the fact or at least fired.
I bet this doller store won't ever call police even if and when being robbed.
When ; was he considered, or ,what did he do to become a felony suspect?
No qualified immunity for law enforcement!!!
Both of these dirtbags should be charged.
W..T..F?!
