  1. The fact that the car was painted AND there was an attempt made to obscure the VIN number, that's an entirely reasonable suspicion that it may be a stolen car. If the driver was trying to HIT the officers with the car, then deadly force could be authorized. If he was just fleeing (which seems to be the case) then this was a bad shoot.

    We'll have to see how it plays out in court

  2. Nope. He did not have any justification..i say it was almost profiling from the start.
    The car parked on private property did not warrant a check by the officers and when it came back clean, that was the end of any investigation. Just because it had been painted, does not prove criminal activity or a criminal activity took place.
    The officers then escalated the situation by going in to the store.
    Yhey probably ran because he knew how corrupt the police were and had some kind of run in eith them but no criminal record.

    Once the car came back clean that was the start and end of any investigation they were doing. Thid was plain cold blooded muder.

    The other officer should have been charged with after the fact or at least fired.
