I'm from Fort Wayne. Born and raised. And trust me when I say that this town has been suffering since this public servant took this attorney's life by not paying attention. Got to be a public servant in order to get away with a murder charge and be charged with a traffic citation. Horrific.
An accident likely without malice but it’s apparent this guy shouldn’t have a driver’s license and should have been charged with something like involuntary homicide or something more than failure to yield.
Sounds like a wrongful death and a Monel claim against the city and officer. As I've said before government officials are sovereign citizens and follow different laws than you or I.
If breaking a law is not a policy violation wtf is??? The rest of us would be in prison. The judge, DA and the pos cop can rot in He!! Just goes to show what they think of the public. I hope the family sues.
Just very recently at Alexandria Minnesota, former police chief Wyffels was found guilty of misappropriating about $60000 of city funds, clearly felonious, The prosecutors as part of the good old blue line gang ended up with a plea deal of a misdemeanor charged him $55 and 4 days in jail. SMH
Police are seriously some of the worst people to exist. And it’s only because we continue to allow them to get away with things like this. All they are is a gang paid for through our taxes.
there is no policy stating cops must obey any laws .
Anybody else would have been charged with involuntary manslaughter. He killed a person, but only was charged for not yelding for a pedestrian. How?
welcome to you country
How about charging for using a mobile device
Woooooooooooowwwwwww
Remember, the state is your enemy. There’s no gray area.
Policy is not law, we need to demand justice. They keep trying to refer policy as laws.
Forget not violating police policy.
What? They didn't throw him in prison for murder with a deadly weapon ?
Sad and disgusting 🤮
Qualified immunity is a beautiful thing right. Anyone else would have been put in prison
Only question I have is, did the lawyer have the crosswalk right of way?
and nothing will happen. if he's fired or allowed to resign, he will just go to another city and continue being a bad cop. IMHO
The liability costs for terminating a regular persons life arbitrarily is plummeting, not a good sign. Wake up USA.
I’m speechless
Shittttttttttttttttttt your kidding . Who is the judge ? Does the judge do drugs or alcohol.
Seriously??? Wtf?
WTF!!!
Who goes to jail when you break the law?
You
Who goes to jail when you catch the govt breaking the law?
Still you.
Government Criminals 😢
This really looks like a murder not an accident.
Did they fine him just to insult the family of the victim?
Un fricken believable!!
WTF😶🐷🤡🐽
Special privilege for swine
Just this is cu to remove a lawyer, their needs to be a outside investigation from outside trusted government to look this matter over hard.

The Police Association and Court decided on 2 hens ($35) which give you 10 eggs per week for 5 years or a total of 2600 extra large eggs…
An attorney???!!! Where are the attorneys filing a lawsuit?????!!!
Sounds like a wrongful death and a Monel claim against the city and officer. As I've said before government officials are sovereign citizens and follow different laws than you or I.
Wow..
The same way people have pushed cannabis legalization by voting for pro cannabis candidates, we need to back pro police reform candidates.
That's horrible
Only in a pussy state does this happen
Never be over

😡😡😡😡😡
Are we really surprised? … no because we gave up on believing in our justice system
Sovereign citizen
Suspended with pay
WTF. If the attorney hit a cop in an intersection, do you think he would be charged $35?
Looks to me like the court & department flaunted this in the face of the lawyers family!! $35????
