Note that the officer claims to have been pacing DashMan at 65 miles per hour. It is possible that the officer was pacing one of the vehicles that passed DashMan and mistakenly pulled over the wrong vehicle. It is also possible that the officer was fishing for a DUI or other violation to collect revenue for the state.
Pacing is not an accurate means of determining speed. It is subjective and much less reliable in low light conditions. Distance also decreases its dependability.
In court it becomes a he said she said situation, and courts are notorious for leaning towards the word of an officer.
I highly recommend you get a dashcam to ensure your safety against road piracy. My recommendations can be found linked in the description.
If you Do get a Dashcam, be sure to choose a 2 channel model. It would be interesting to have seen a rear facing video to see how long the officer could have been pacing him, and if, while he was allegedly pacing DashMan, the officer maintained his own speed and from how far away he was pacing.

Probably got pulled over for going exactly the speed limit. I've been pulled over by a cop that admitted that, I was going exactly the speed limit and not with the flow of traffic.. If you obviously obey the law apparently they just think you're doing something else even more illegal.

After the POS cop said “We don’t lie….”, I think I would have insisted that the cop issue me a ticket for speeding just so I could take it to court and expose him as the liar that he is, especially with the dashcam evidence. It would also be fun to expose how he was fishing and did not have any basis for stopping the driver.
If someone was a real talker ( like this cop seems to be ) and had the time to spare ,you wonder how long someone could keep this animated chatty Kathy cop, busy with conversation while on he is the clock and suppose to be working ! Something tells me, cop would be janbring for quite a some time ,bfor remembering he has a job to do ! But at least the cop didn't try to waste time by starting a bunch of shit !

Who in the hell drivers 55 on the freeway. Even the people who drive slow go more then 55. In California everyone is going 65-75 on the freeway. We do 55 on the side streets. Heck at some parts of town it's painted 55 on the roads.
Pacing should be illegal. That means they have to break the law before they catch you breaking the law.
