  1. I am an expert on nothing. But, what I do know is that if you knowingly allow anyone to get away with anything it will embolden them to continually push the envelope. If you have kids and allow them to get away with breaking the rules, you end up with a spoiled brat at best and a serial killer at worst. It will never happen, but police departments need to start putting their own cops on the chopping block from day one. No more vacations while they are "investigated". No more last chance agreements. No more stopping the investigation because they resigned or retired. Any cop who resignsretires while under investigation should have his jacket amended that he was fired. No more qualified immunity. No more indemnification by the government for cops being sued. No more cop unions.

  2. I still think that there should be a national database of police who were fired under such circumstances. There's no way they should be able to just pick up and head to a different jurisdiction and find work as a cop again

  3. It's sad that the cop knows he can force his way into any home and just say "Sue me" when the homeowner says he can't do that without a warrant. The cop himself doesn't lose anything outside maybe his job. The citizen sues and gets taxpayer money, and the cop just goes to another police dept for a similar job.

  4. This guy is EXACTLY what is wrong with the system! They can break the law and not be held fully accountable. So, like any other thug, he goes out and does it again and again. This has become much bigger then the police on the streets. This is all coming down from the top!!!

  5. Time has proven, law suits do not stop law enforcement officers from criminal behavior, violating peoples rights. In my opinion, laws like Title 18 U.S. Code Section 241-Conspiracy Against Rights and Title 18 U.S. Code Section 242-Deprivation Of Rights Under Color Of Law and Title 18 U.S. Code Section 242-Law Enforcement Misconduct can if enough of these CRIMINALS WITH BADGES are charged an convicted of these crimes. They end up with a CRIMINAL record which should prevent them from ever getting another job as a law enforcement officer and could even have them serve time in prison for their actions.

  6. Real question, can home invasion cases be settled? Like say a burgler invades a home and gets caught, can such a case be settled where the burgler pays the homeowner x amount of money to drop charges, or is that something exclusive to cops? I'm actually curious.

  7. Judge clearly says that his statements do not align with the body cam footage and still does not charge him with any evidence crimes, perjury or pervert the course of justice. He lied on a sworn statement to the court. He keeps getting away with it. They all keep getting away with it. Are we fools for thinking that body cam footage would stop the cops from just lying about things? The evidence here is that it has had little to no impact on them just making shit up like they are going to get away with it again.
    Also,
He is a walking advertisement for how safe it is to be a cop. I doubt a non-badge wielding person would have survived that many home invasions unscathed.

  8. Detective…This horrible moron actions cought on body camera..Should render anyone jailtime..
He is supposed to detect crime..Not create crime..Sickening..

  9. fired then rehired fired again and rehired again using his cop badge as a debt collector wonders if he's been rehired again The cop committed a home invasion. Assault and battery. Kidnapping. Unlawful detention. where are the criminal charges? Judge was shocked, but not enough to hold him accountable Police should not be allowed to resign to avoid accountability for their wrongdoing and crimes..

  10. Just cause your job as an officer, it doesnt mean that you can just break into a house if you want to. It doesn't matter what profession you are in, you are a human being regardless. Thats when cops let their ego get in the way.

  11. Until these kinds of cases end up being devastating for the elected officials in charge, they will never end. Hiring a cop with a pattern should be a career ended move for mayors sheriffs, City councils, etc. Hell, if we have enough of a movement, I'd say go after state and federal legislators. You start talking about removing millionaires from their seats of power, and just watch how fast the cops start being held accountable

  12. Cops like this make me think the lawsuits aren't enough punishment for these violations.

Why won't the prosecutors actually file charges against these cops for these things?

  13. "Police officer" might be the only profession in the country where you can get away with crimes by simply resigning your position.

Imagine if that were the case with all professions. Imagine that you are, let's say, the treasurer of a company and you embezzle some company money into your own pockets, and when found out and reported to the authorities, you just resign and get away with it. The authorities won't do anything to you because you are not a treasurer for that company anymore.

Would that make any sense? Yet, apparently it does make sense if you are a police officer instead. For some reason.

  14. "cop resigns AGAIN"
why really gotta stop cities from hiring known bad apples.
i suggest that lawsuits are absolutely the cure for this. just really rip into that pre hire history and the fact it was obvious that this person should not have a badge before one was issued to them anyways.

  15. "Ive never seen a video like that" that Judge needs to watch some Youtube, way worse cases than this that get no attention and nothing happens to the dirtbag cops who break the constitution daily, one woman got a promotion to detective. Resigns over bad behavior, fired for bad behavior and this jerk still gets hired? I wish i had that kind of job security.

  16. i firmly believe that cops learn when they can and can't get a warrant.
and when they think they can't get one, these just go ahead and act.

i have spoken with former cops who were lying to a fellow co worker. telling him a passenger needs to ID. i brought up the truth, and the applicable case law. told the kid to lawyer and invoke rights.
the former cop said he'd arrest and so would most cops he worked with. lawsuits take time and money and did not come out of the cops pocket.

he's a former cop from carson city nevada. he's now the assistant sales manager at powersports dealership in reno. basically runs the used side of things, go figure.
his last name is on a soda can, and it ain't Mr. Pibb.

  17. So the mother refused to contract so you just go and assault the mother , really ?

I would like to know why Americans bang on about the constitution? Whereas over here in Oz we bang on about common law and we do not acquiesce to there fraudulent statutes !

  18. This is exactly what happens when Police are given tacit approval to Threaten, Abuse, Exploit, Demean, Initiate unprovoked violence, Bully, Intimidate,Curse, Physically and abuse People of Color, The disabled,The handicapped and other minorities. Overtime these intentional Abuses, injustices and Violence is extended to All Community Members systematically and unapologetically. This is called You support the Blue until it happens to you.
