I use to be 98% pro law enforcement until a rookie kept me detained for a welfare check wanting proof of insurance for my car. All I had done was sit in my car for about 20 minutes at a cemetery. After that unfortunately my outlook on law enforcement is not to high. Then the cheif of police trying to get his 15 minutes of fame agreed with a town "Karen" that I should just stay out of their town. It was my home town. Now seeing this I don't believe he didn't notice the train was that close. I think they are trying to cover a stupid mistake. I still hope he healed up well. We all make dumb mistakes. It's just most of us admit to them.
We call that tunnel vision in law enforcement, I think it's just plain stupidity. How much damage did his fat head do to the engine those trains cost a lot of money. Is the officer going to get a warrant for assault and battery against the train?

Looks like Someone was trying to milk the department for a chuck of change. Was out of the way, body camera is facing the train the entire time meaning his chest was towards train entire time. Can even see when he stopped left ensuring he was going to receive contact. I guess he wasn’t lying when he said “I didn’t realize I Was that close” because hat extra step left got him fuckkkeeddddd up

The really sad part is the kid is probably going to get charged for the cops stupidity…why would you stand on a railroad?
