Recently, a federal lawsuit was filed in Kentucky and the body cam footage was released, showing a young pregnant woman confronted by a police officer, in her own driveway, over a busted taillight. Take a look and then I’ll give you my thoughts about whether her constitutional rights were violated. Can the police just pull in your driveway after you park and detain you in your yard, much less use force on you?

I hope the baby was okay
I just read that the lawsuit has been settled for $100,000.
I would love to see a follow up on this one.
They also get rewarded for all the arrests! Yes and they don't really care and they get brownie points because everything costs money. He said he turned around because he saw the tail light was out when she pulled in. So he was facing her when he was driving. No need for any of this!
Unfortunately government cares less than none about right and wrong……they only care about doing as much harm to as many people as they can as often as they can.
I'd bet that if accurate and truthfull records were kept , law enforcement break more laws than the general population…. every day !!
Cops should act as if their police chief and their grandmother are standing there watching them. Maybe their actions would be far better.
FYI: Lawsuit settled for $100K and charges against the two women were dismissed. So much for "deputy did nothing wrong".🙄
I heard her friend yell she’s pregnant, several times. As much as the cops wanted to hurt her, they need to realize at six months pregnant, there are two people they are hurting. They need to be charged with child endangerment, in my opinion.
Police officers are never to be trusted never talk to the police if they want a body slam a six month pregnant woman hopefully she didn't have a miscarriage. The ego of these punks with badges is too much for the public to take. When do you think the public will start fighting back?
This officer is nothing more then a bully with a badge. Two women that’s not hostile and one pregnant this officer felt comfortable to man handle them. Officer knows he is wrong by covering the camera and cutting the voices.
Cop ahould be arrested and tried for murder. And the fact cop's wont hold others accountable inly show that they dont want to start a precedent. The standards for cops are so low right now because nobody wants to be a cop and they only get power hungry assholes.
You tube love these cops. That’s why you can’t show the whole Visio. And you can’t say anything negative about the cops.
updates would be great
did the rest of the officers turn off bodycam?
this is a really big man
I think about busted, or burned out tail lights, brake lights, and such, and wonder about "reasonable suspicion." Suspicion of WHAT? A crime? A statutory violation? The vehicle committed a crime?
The concept is as stupid as the rhetorical questions I asked. All that a police officer has to do is advise the driver that a light is out so that the owner can get it fixed. What happened in this case is a disgusting abuse of two women; one of whom was pregnant! Plus, he violated mother and daughter ON THEIR PROPERTY WITHOUT PROBABLE CAUSE. I could almost FEEL that man's hatred, and disdain for these women.
The video did not show the total circumstances surrounding the arrest, BUT of this I am certain: Officer Macho Pseudo-Man INITIATED the violence without just cause. Any action taken by the daughter, or the mother would have been INSTINCTUAL SELF DEFENSE AGAINST AN AGGRESSIVE "LAW ENFORCER" with hornets up his a$$.
I pray that mom and baby are ok. This incident really pissed me off.
Blessings to you all, my friends…
Where are all of those self rightous pro lifers when it comes to protecting this unborn child ??
Acting like a bitch and creating crime is not against policy.
He wanted to escalate to get his Adrenalin rush and feed his ego.
He knew what he. Was doing was wrong, or he wouldn’t of shut down his camera.
It was a f**king fixit ticket. Just write the ticket to the owner of the car, like a parking ticket.
I hope one day they do not make it home
For this heinous act this pig should be in jail and treated like the scumbag he is.
It was too much for him to say hey u need to repair that which I believe she was trying to with red tape where he says that won't do it!!
McCracken County ky? Yeah black women in McCracken County ky, yup ur fucked! Good luck it's worst then metcalf county
I don't watch your channel to see you critique out-of-state law enforcement. I watch to see how you defend clients when law enforcement is either ignorant or doesn't follow our constitutional rights.
That poor unborn baby, im so sick about this, why!? Why!? This done me in. 🤕😱🤬😵💫. Not to forget the two women, so sorry for them.
Well yo
