The vicious law enforcement gang in this country are worse than the MS13 and the Venezuelan gang. Their brutality and their sadistic enjoyment of hurting and injuring defenseless people up to taking their lives is worse than any that exists. • arrest for disorderly conduct
• body camera footage that was released by IMPD, shows a handcuffed Vaughn falling on his back near the steps at Monument Circle during his interaction with police
• moments later, Huxley is seen stomping his foot down on Vaughn's face
• before Huxley kicked him in the face, Vaughn had been insulting another officer as they searched Vaughn's pockets and attempted to remove his belt
• May 2023 pleaded guilty to a felony of deprivation of rights under color of law
• during the trial "Please know I had no intention to step on your head or face," he said.
• Vaughn wasn't in the courtroom, but Huxley had a message for him: "I failed you that day," he said before being sentenced.
• "This incident has been devastating not only for the victim, but also for Mr. Huxley and his family," John Kautzman, his attorney, wrote. He said Huxley was worried about not being there for his teenage daughter, and not being able to care for his aging parents. His family has amassed over $50,000 in debt during the past two years and is "currently exploring" bankruptcy.

• on home detention the first six months after he leaves prison
• as part of the plea agreement, Huxley and a county prosecutor have agreed to a 180-day executed jail sentence for a level 6 felony of battery resulting in moderate bodily injury

Jermaine Vaughn

• charged in Marion County court with two misdemeanors of disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement
• both charges were dismissed
Vaughn has sued Huxley, the City of Indianapolis, IMPD and the other officers involved in his arrest in Marion County court. He's asking to be financially compensated for a string of claims, including intentional battery, unlawful and excessive force, official misconduct and negligence.
Lawsuit is pending as of October 2023.
