alcohol is a chemical in the human body. a lot of folks do not realize that control, that power, is also a chemical in the human body that one can be drunk off of. it might do to note that their doohicky can hit on things like mouth wash, as well as other things. Once on active duty… we did routine tests like weight, breathalyzer and urine tests… so, I blew, idk.. it were not 0. The first sergeant said "Let me see that." i don't recall if he blew a 10.0 or an 8.0.. it were something like that…. we all got a big laugh out of it. My point being, when someone doesn't like you, or they are literally out to get you. something harmless, becomes what it is not.
This is the attitude and accountability that will make us love and stand by our officer's again. If anyone gives these guys problems. This is a town that we as a community will stand behind and ank this sheriff to teach other pd officers how to hire real cops. Please share this video and for good reason praise all three of these guys. Cop, Sargent and auditor. Great step in the American direction
If the questioner had been a real cop, he'd probably have rattled off "bloodshot watery eyes and strong odor of alcohol" as well as the bottle cap. When he blew a 0.00 he might have doubled down and called a drug dog, or asked for a blood test because he KNEW he was impaired.
Imagine if every cop was as ego free as tbis gentlemen. He genuinely believes or appears to believe he is a public servant. It is super annkying for a civilian to come up and press you like that amd he handled it great
Again accountability is needed and transparency. Myself works as a nurse in a major US city and I can tell you. How would you feel if I was caring for your sick child, dispense medication including powerful narcotics. caring for your child and drinking on the job? Cops drive vehicles and carry guns including riot guns and even explosives. Don't you think they should have higher scrutiny? Suspend Qualified Immunity Now!!!
