    Denied public defender because the punishment isn't severe enough, then the judge makes the punishment more severe mid trial. Awesome judge there, most be beloved by the pigs.

    Travis has a history of allegations against him of lewd behavior in a home he once owned, involving computer pornography for which police seized him computers with a search warrant (Rice Lake, Wisconsin). He has his own computer, but accesses public library services to get into restricted porn and other data sites. He historically exhibits odd confrontational behavior toward mostly middle-aged women in front desk jobs (governmenr offices, public libraries, educational institutions, charities) after which he customarily complains that they and their superiors targeted him; this, to Travis' evident amusement, generally prompts such women to, in turn, call police to investigate him, after which expresses indignation but eventually leaves town for less controversy elsewhere. He's had several police incidents at Walmarts across several states, based on alleged suspicion of theft, trespassing, living on the premises in his car for weeks at a time, and overusing customer toilet facilities for extended periods. After living in his rattletrap car in a forest area just outside a small Idaho town, into which he bicycled extensively throughout it and peacefully interacted with many people, including kids. It was Travis' interaction with children in that town that emotionally upset certain older local men who reportedly suggested that threats of force against Heinze could be a last resort to get him to leave town, which he thereafter did under the watchful eyes of the local gendarmerie, which itself never prodded him at all. Indeed, things got so sticky that before vacating his forest campsite and while still living by it in his car, certain male locals publicly posted numerous photocopies of Heinze's picture, warning of the threat he could pose to local kids. Elsewhere, Travis himself has posted several videos of his small town walkabouts and bike cruising, including in Texas and Colorado, showing himself trespassing alone and window peeping from sidewalks into various buildings, including residential dwellings. In a 2022 phone interview, Heinze's father said outright that he and his wife had to "throw him out" of their home when Travis was over 30 because of his indifference to their needs and "mooching". Travis has a Wisconsin college degree with many more credits than he needed to graduate, but no distinguished academic history (with a transcript with a mediocre GPA); he apparently milked his VA college tuition and housing righls for all the credits he could get, just to keep getting the free VA money that allowed him to avoid working. He has, in fact, publicly described himself on one of his several YouTube channels as an itinerant "bum" who uses charities to get free food and anything else available, always refusing to exchange his labor for what he receives. He has a favorite scam at Walmart, where he buys food and drink, consumes about half of it in his car and then returns it as dissatisfying to him, for a demanded full refund. He has been repeatedly reported by youngsters as suspiciously parked in his car on middle and high school grounds for hours at a time, but without pursuing any business on campus. He's featured himself on many of his posted videos as being approached by cops while asleep in his car while parked on private property (car lots). He usually stays in communities as long as he can evade frequent police contacts, but tends to leave town, and often the state, once local cops hear from residents that he's a suspicious denizen in the community and then start to investigate him. He once posted video on YT of his theft of patient medical records, which he took from file cabinets moved out of medical facilities in a large midwest Texas city and left unattended by movers in unlocked offices and building passages at night, awaiting their movement to a secure location. More could be added to this historical summary, but conjoined with his Louisiana conviction and punishment (which itself may be reversible for statutory unconstitutionality AND egregious judicial misconduct by the Louisiana trial judge) reflects that Travis Heinze is, for lack of a better comprehensive descriptor, a "creep" of the worst order who has found himself a gimmick that allows him to cause public disorder while he dances between the raindrops and profits as a YouTube producer while exploiting a serious flaw in a certain aspect of Louisiana's criminal procedural law.

    Wow. I dig what Travis does and like his content. He comes across a very mild mannered person but the leos always seem to escalate quickly when contacting him .
