we need to require more than a high school diploma for anybody to be a law-enforcement officer. Not all police dogs are not trained in sniffing out drugs because the police department didn't pay for the extra training for drugs sniffing they just pay for the dogs attacks training
I've had 6 police interactions in my life. In one, my mother was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police cruiser because the officer didn't bother looking at the birthdate on her license when a warrant came up for her fairly common name. One time I was accused of selling drugs to my friends when they were pulled over for speeding through a yellow light. One time I was pulled over of having the state name obscured on my license plate, the single most recognizable license plate in the US, despite proof that it wasn't obscured (I won that ticket in court) and one I was verbally accosted and ticketed over the dangers of running a red light in a school zone, by running g a red he of course meant coming to a complete stop and making a legal right turn with no traffic oncoming adjacent to but not in a school zone at 6pm.
Yeah…and then they wonder how negative perceptions get made of them
