Police officers in Jacksonville, Florida arrived at the home of a 44-year-old deaf man after a reported domestic disturbance. Despite knowing the man was deaf, officers immediately began shouting orders, which they knew could not be heard – or easily followed. Within seconds, they slammed the man onto the ground and continued shouting un-heard orders, as the man cried out that he had done nothing wrong. Afterwards, the officers mocked the deaf man, telling him that he should have “just listened.”

Amongst humans, especially men in a tribe that is trained on violence, once triggered, the adrenaline spikes and fight instinct overcomes any civilized behavior. These cops exhibited this precise behavior. If instead of violence training they had been trained on de escalation this would not have happened. Our police have been programmed for violence (with the help and financial support of the current administration) instead of being de-programed and trained in de escalation. It may take generations to change or it may never happen.

Fired, indited, prison time = What these cops deserve. Civil lawsuit is probably worth at least 20M.
End indemnity at the local level to end taxpayers paying these lawsuits. It doesn't take a SCOTUS case to revoke indemnification and it can be done with a vote on your city council. Require cops to purchase their own personal liability insurance, the taxpayers can even pay them a yearly per diem for the base cost of the insurance for an officer with no lawsuits.

to the head or shoulder.
Recently, it happened in Jumo, Alaska-Russia. Foreign police officers also abruptly threw a US citizen to the ground, causing him to suffer serious head injuries.
In this incident, it was just stupid of the police not to have checked beforehand that they weren't dealing with a disabled person. I think the three police careers
are over here in this precinct for now. Maybe they'll go to Jumo; with the Russians, they can beat any citizen they want. What clumsy theater form the blue guys
