This is what the 2nd amendment is for.
The Constitution of the United States of America makes it very clear the federal government has absolutely no business policing States!!! The powers given to the federal government are limited policing is the domain of the state alone!!!
If that was my family that town would gain a vigilante free…of…charge.
Attorneys, thank you for what you do!!!! This is nuts!!
Wow!!!
American Civilians don’t realize this is a HUGE PROBLEM???
This has evolved to include my eldest son or it may have begun with him younger ones at Hollywood high in north Hollywood it's complete hate crimes/harassment and intimidation and all my complaints dismissed with lawyers
Qualified immunity must have reasonable limits…… If not revoked….
first of all the people are just standing around and watching a murder in progress, if you dont have the stones to jump in, then record the incident and leave before the dam red coats flood the area it might make a difference. might not.
Wtf, ftp!
for the millionth time I will warn: If justice can not be gotten in the courts, it will be found in the streets. There is no other way.
And I will add, when I say justice, I mean justice that a reasonable person would consider justice.
I really hate to be the one to say it, but the circumstances warrant it being said.
If the person at the center of this happened to be a minority, I highly doubt this would still be an issue. It really speaks to the tiered justice system we all have to deal with.
I just don’t understand how qualified immunity can still shield local, state and federal authorities from prosecution when they are violating someone’s rights. Why are we, as a nation, still putting up with this kind of thing?
EDIT: This case just underscores the need to reign in federal agencies. The FBI, ATF and related agencies have outgrown their original jurisdiction and have become the enforcement wing of the government against its own citizens.
Protect and serve my ass.
I had a similar experience many many years ago in Tennessee. I was a young man at the time enjoying a concert I was attending.
All was good until two men with beards and plain clothes grabbed me and tried to manhandle me. I resisted because I thought I was being attacked by two random dudes. Next thing I know there are five dudes punching and kicking the sh!t out of me. Turned out all were plain clothes officers that mistook me for someone else.
I’m an old man now and everytime I think about I still get pissed off.
DSA (DisunitedStatesOfAmerica) is the most dangerous country to live not because of the killing but of the constant abuse of power and its immunity given to those that should be arrested.
He was mugged
WE MUST END QUALIFIED IMMUNITY!!
Unbelievable ! Criminal public servants
Unbelievable
This is scary and outrageous. Our government has completely sold every citizen of our country out. There effectively is no constitution at this point. What little fragments are left, happen to be available only at the approval of the tyrants and traitors that are in charge.
FEDERAL? ..YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK.
our government and politics are so screwed up people vote for Republicans because they think they will protect their rights but Republicans appoint "conservative" judges who despise the 4th and 6th amendment if you vote for Democrats they use the court to make laws that never existed before because of their interpretation of "popular opinion" our Bill of Rights should be subject to a very expansive literal interpretation, the fact the government works so hard to make its storm troopers immune to the laws they are supposed to be enforcing is outrageous but show me anyone in the top two political parties that is doing anything about it
No one should have immunity from the law, no matter who they are or what job title they have.
What is the status of this case?
Bush's "indefinite detention" and " enhanced interrogation " showed how little use the government has for the constitution . They started out using it on foreign brown people because they knew there would be little push back, now with the NDAA it has come to a theater near you. The open borders show how little the public wishes mean to them.
Wow! I wish an independent agency would review these videos daily & as soon as there's a serious problem with an officer, they should b suspended without pay! Then if later it's determined that the officer was justified, then they could b reinstated. Right?! Cuz that's what they do 2 us, arrest/detain us & then later when they figure out we are not breaking laws, then we r released… Maybe!!
This is communism at it's best. We the people needs to step up and clean house!!
This is how the POLICE STATE WORKS
I remember hearing about this years ago. Ive been waiting for an update.❤
Just FYI as an update, it appears that his case has entirely run its course. The innocent kid lost on procedural grounds. He re-applied for cert to the SC a second time, but was denied. For updates, see the IJ site linked in the description. https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/23pdf/22-912_6579.pdf
Was it the one fed agent who initiated the attack ?
When the Gov't can't be held accountable through the courts, the 2nd is the only recourse left.
The Gestapo
So the USA truely has become a police state, regardless of their constitution and bill of rights, the state is completely corrupt.
This is exactly what the 2nd amendment was for…when the government can't be held accountable for breaking the law then there is no law only a fight for survival
Someone who knows how to contact them should send this to Joe Rogan, Patrick Bet David and Tucker Carlson, and have him interviewed on their podcasts to bring this thing more to the public. I know all three of those people would love to have a discussion about this.
Since all this happened, everyone has been able to see how aggressive federal law enforcement can be, and how difficult it is to fight against the federal government. This is quite frightening. The federal government can just disregard our constitutional rights without consequences. This thing has got to be seen through, and hopefully the supreme Court we have today will do the right thing.
Ha! Tinylanyards@!!
A girlfriend palmed me one of those little football shaped notes we used to pass around in the 90s and I slipped it into my pocket. I was rushed, tackled, assaulted and had my pockets gone through as they suspected it was a drug deal. When they realized it was a note they told me to get lost and that I was lucky it wasn't worse. When my father went to the police station to file a report they informed him he better think twice if he was still going to live in that town.
Why is violence against a police officer somehow more of a punishment? You don't have a right to defend yourself once you're being assaulted by the police? With no crime having been committed?
How about taking a claim out on their Dunn and Bradstreet bond?
The FBI has no charter from congress and therefor have no law enforcement power. All they are is thugs.
" police officers"?!
