Long time Canadian subscriber here… this just happened to me two nights ago!! 330 in the morning… a male and female were screaming at each other outside my house, walking up and down the street… 30 minutes later, the cops are banging on my front door. I have two German Shepherds… if it wasn't for the dogs… the first cop would've definitely pushed his way into my house! They both were extremely aggressive. The initial cop demanded me to put the dogs away because they needed to come in and make sure everything was okay. I told them it had nothing to do with me. I heard the yelling… but it had nothing to do with me. Amd I'm not pitting the dogs away and there's no way they were coming in my house. Some words were exchanged, and I told him to get the F off my porch and shut the door. They walked my property were they could and went and sat back in their squad car and immediately put their spotlight on my house for 30 minutes, lighting up my entire house…. then they left. Brutal!
That is an armed home invasion and should have been treated as such.
