Even if a cop gives a ticket to another cop or a cop's family member it will be "lost paperwork." My friend's dad was a cop and she had a card that she was supposed to give along with her driver's license so the cop wouldn't give her a ticket. He gave her the ticket, anyway, and her dad pulled the paperwork out of the system. Such integrity with cops lol

Absolutely Disgusting but a lot of officers are too Stupid to Understand that Unmarked Police Cars come up as license plate not on file when you check the plate. Send them back for training and Sensitivity .
Robinson was a complete Dick. Just because someone is a superior officer does not make them a good guy. He hopped out of his car, that is what the patrol officers were upset about. Can you seriously say you have never been pissed off at your boss for something like this?

Contract your state and local legislators. Ask them to remove qualified immunity from law enforcement. And ask them to change the laws that allow your local law enforcement to hide information from the public.
This is how we change these things. We have to start at the local level and work up.
Defunding the police is not what we need to be focused on. Guaranteeing accountability, transparency, and the inability to hide information from the public is.
